Laff77 (1278km): Finally cracked the 31 knot barrier! Ok I know it's only less than 0.5 of a knot faster than my last PB, but its a psychological thing Sailed on my 93 ltr S-Type and 6.0 Daytona. Session didn't start out so well, not quite enough wind at the start and one of my callouses on my hand exploded! MASSIVE thanks to Des for sorting out my harness lines, set them much further back and and closer together, this and the smaller fin that Des lean't me has resulted in some new PBs. Wind was around 20+ with some 30 knot gusts. Looking forward to stronger wind tomorrow!
Waiting4wind (683km): Good wind today but I was too lazy to rig down, the 6.7m was a bit much for my fin and TB58 when really powered. Most of my faster runs were in the lighter sessions. Nevertheless got a good work out. Tommorrow with 20-30 forecast I'll start with the 6.2 and rig down to a 5.2m, both of which should be a better match for the 80L TB58.
Karl (3279km): An afterwork sail is always a bonus. Not a great sail. Tacked up to where the others were sailing. A couple of runs in very gusty and shifty winds. One second there may be 20 knots, the next 1. Got frustrated and gave up. Used Tabou Rocket 105, Neil Pryde RX2 6.6 and Multifins Slalom Extreme 28cm. A bigger board that plans through the lulls and more time sailing is a funner option on the lake.
Great to see the other Demerits are getting out there
