Laff77 (1278km): Wasn't sure how the afternoon was going to pan out. When I arrived the wind looked a bit sketchy so rigged my 6.0 Daytona on my 93 S-Type. Headed up to the top of the runway and has some pretty quick runs. Wind got stronger and stronger throughout the afternoon and at times the 6.0 was a bit too much to handle. Got some really great runs with some big gusts in the flat water near shore. Scratched up a couple more PBs so am a very happy chappy indeed | ||||||||||||||||||
Waiting4wind (683km): Gremlins are back. It's taken me a few days to download this because it just refused to dowload. Also I have a couple of days data on the GPS which makes it more confusing. Hence why my distance is higher than the lazy usual of around 60km. The runs include a combination of my slalom gear and my JP FSW board. The FSW was a surprise. It was so comfortable charging downwind over chop, and with a 5.8m wave sail it was no problem consistently clocking speeds around 30 knots. I'll have to try a blade fin in this board. Jon I think I better up my game, you're right on my tail with those speeds. Either that or I need to give you a crappier fin. Good work.
