Waiting4wind (683km): Not sure what happened today? I had a couple of 33 knot runs showing on the display but didn't come up in the stats. I did turn the GPS off a few times to conserve power as the battery was getting low. Peeved. Sailing almost every day over the last few months has taken it's toll. My feet are trashed from the straps and pads, had to chuck it in early today as the feet were red raw. I may have to do some bump and jump sailing for a while on the FSW to give the feet a chance to recover. Maybe pull the slalom stick out if the wind is really nice. | ||||||||||||||||||
Laff77 (1278km): Another good day out. Same combo as yesterday S-Type 93 and 6.6 Daytona. Stronger gusts today got a little out of control a few times, but there were lulls as well so bigger sail was the better choice. Wind was around 20-25 knots, but some stronger gusts in between.... Started out on fire and nailed my first 3 gybes on the plane, thought I was going to make a 1 hour PB, but then it all went pear shaped. Oh well, I definately feel that my gybes are improving big time thanks to the GPS! |
