another gusty day with rain

Lake Illawarra, NSW, AU  Sat out some pretty big gusts out there on the lake. Unusual combination of tide and wind direction, but a good crowd out.

Good to catch up with everyone, I didn't like the conditions at all....Gusting up to 50 knots is not my idea of fun. Very choppy water and the wind switching for west to south west and back every minute made it a real challenge. Things settled into place by the arvo but it was super windy, everyone out on 4.7 or 5.0.....I think they could have done with smaller but it was entertaining!

Windy westerly on the lake. Out with everyone. Broke 30 knots! Some very windy gusts where just had to hold the gear down. Good fun.
