Pipe Clay Lagoon, TAS, AU

Fun sail at the Lagoon.  Pretty flat water, just needed more wind.  Started with iSonic 107 with C3 SWEED proto fin and 7.0m Reflex III.  This combo felt good, fin felt fast off the wind and the sail felt great.  Change to iSonic 86 with Sting II 34 fin and that felt great too and produce some faster runs, just.  Would have been nice to have had about 10 more knots!!  About 7 or 8 people out.

Starboard Futura 111, KA Koncept 6.3 and Venom 40

Good fun in the pond with quiet a few out. Could have changed down to the isonic 86 but was having to much fun on the futura and it was a bit up and down. Cant wait for the naish sp 95 to arrive, it will be a perfect pond board Tongue out

Happy with an Alpha PB on the big board Smile

OMG Izaak, that is one of those all time great sessions that come along once in a while.  Far out!!  Great top speed, awesome 5x10 and a 1hr to die for, plus a NM PB.  Going to be hard for any of the Tassie Team to top those scores.  Well done.  You totally deserve it to, with your commitment and gutsy attitude.  Well done!!!!  Three PB's is just unbelievable.

Well done Perks, awesome!!  You must be wrapped with that 1hr PB, just great.  So pleased for you guys!!!  You two have just got five of our best scores for the month and that's after a good month!!!  Sensational.  Almost speechless !!

Proto SWEED 30/40 looks like a Slingshot, but with more rake and obviously quite a lot bigger (30cm deep and equivalent to a 40cm fin).  Felt much better with the 7.0 than the other day with the 7.8m.  As a weed fin it'll be great, but I think it may have potential as a big-board speed fin.
