Lake Illawarra, NSW, AU. Westerly going to SW. Mostly about 20 knots buts gusts to 35 knots later on

Woohoo - mission accomplished for today - get to 35 knots 2 sec.Tongue out New board, new fin, old sail. I started off pretty slowly getting used to the board and fin, but slowly edged the speed up as I dialed in. Moved the back straps, and mast track back 4 cm( I reckon it could go another 1 cm) and felt better & better. Very pleased with the board - it definitely has more speed potential. The fin was a very interesting - being only 17.6cm deep it required a careful back foot, but a spinout was only 15degree and grabbed back again very easily. Good upwind ability and soooo good being able to basically sail anywhere and not worry about weed or depthSmile.

A big team outing with John, Mark, Jase, Keef, Anibal and Ian on the water. Thanks to Leo for some advice!Cool.

I got blasted late in the day when the wind picked up, not helped by a broken batten (again)
