4395 days ago 2 categories Had trouble today choosing between a wave sail and estuary blast, in the end decided the waves were a bit too far apart and wind a bit too light. Pleased with my descion this time, had fun with the crew at hardie's, tried to sort out my Starboard alphas, think it's going to need a bit more practise.

Wind looked realy good when I got there thought I might have to rig a 7 something, glad I didn't as there wind was very patchy, Couldn't quite line up with the gusts and fell into a few holes.
Was going to flag it but the wind picked as Hardz hit the water so decided to go out again, went back out again for a few nore runs, was doing some bear aways with my eyes closed as it was quite shallow and I was using a 42.
Happy at the end of the day, got a bit of a sore freckle from having it kicked by both Mike and Hardz tonight

4395 days ago Shark Bay WA. Morning sesh on se was good. then went out on 6.3 an 55w with 21 singshot. Just a wee little overpowered. Got a 42.88 on the 55w Mistral which is a pb for that board. Then rigged the 47w with a 5.9 TR8 an a 20 msling shot. that produced a 42.96 on the dial. Good fun but totally overpowered. Could have been on my 5.5. or 5.1 today. Starting to feel worn out. Tomski is still providing the demo's for emergency dismount. I saw 2 big offs an he is now saw an bruised all over. Big congrats for not holding back Tom in such rough conditions. Stars are still bright an the beers have become colder.

Reflex II 6.2, 5.6, Mistral 47 & 55, Some fins that kept spinning out!
No confidence in the fins today. Persisited with them long enough to get slammed into the bottom at 37 knots x2. Not happy. They won't be getting wet again. Then just to prove stuff ups come in 3's........pulled the footstrap screw out of my board on the way back across, another massive catapult + pain. Should have stayed in bed. Bruised and not a very happy camper
Congrats to Crasher. Wish I had a camera on the run. Ballsy effort flying over that sort of chop at 40 odd. Well Done.
Big congrats to Mitch and Rod moving on up. Huge distance. Well DONE

4395 days ago Shark Bay - A double session, early morning then oneish. Good to be back on the real speed yeeeeeeeh. shouda done an extra lap, my speed was incressing every lap ad my 5x10 would ave been 37+.. but you have to learn when to stop !!! Had few good stacks with scratches!!! All of us wasnt looking pretty at the end of the session, but had big smile on our faces. Great effort from Dale on his speed, Tom scared me few time with his forwards,
Godd effort and well done Holden familly on the millage and PBs :))
The sky was fantastic last nigh, lot of shotting stars, even seen a fire ball!! Keep your eyes open, should be a total solar eclipse on the 14th!!
Misty47, 5.3 Lighting, 27 caspar, wanted to try all the new stuff.. the sail is not quite there.. fin is great, felt no limit..
Good trusted CA44, RSS5.0, SS_SP220/30, great combo!!
Off for some more exploration with the Nutsies..

Bit of a sad session with my 6.5 sail getting packed up after a old war wound opened up again, think she has seen her last session. Went back out with smaller sail but wind just was not there until we had come in and packed up of course grrrr.
Thanks Elmo for some coaching and the loan of some longer harness lines, nice to stretch out the T-Rex arms :)
WOW!! Crasher nice work champ, look fwd to catching up for a beer and hearing some of ya adventures
Big congrats Rod & Mitch on the multiple PB's
