4392 days ago Safety Bay, WA, AU Futura 101, 28cm Lessacher Chamelion, Gaastra Vapour 7.1
I hit something on the bar at 27 knots according to my track this is what happened, I think it was a stingray as there was nothing in the water where I came off that could have stopped me the way I did
Was a good day otherwise, joined by Sammy, Rod and Mitch and Anita was the pinnas rep for the day. Tide was too low earlier for running the bar and a stingray got in my way ending my day just as it was starting to get good

4392 days ago 2 categories On a distance mission today, started off with big board and the 32woody weedy with the trusty 6.0
Got on the water at 1030 to relieve my bladder, groveled around for 30min till the wind came in, by lunch time it had filled nicely and I was over boarded, sail and fin. so swapped to the 53 and the 5.3 started of with the lockwood 23 (well worn, needs the Dr), wind eased off a bit and the fin was then a bit too small, changed to the 25.5 at arvo tea stop, abot 1850 felt like stopping, running out of light, but I had 197km up so just had to sail till dark.
Got a bit of a serve from Dot when I got in at 1945, the mobile was off in the glove box, must remember to ring next time I'm that late.
Thanks Alby for giving me Light to derig in.

4392 days ago Safety Bay with Adam and Holden familly, nice to meet Anita.. Back in town, arrived at 2.30 to find a seabreeze, bonus sail!!
Passed most of the session struggling to keep going, was very un reasonable to use the 47 but could not stop it had to use it again. The board is unreal!! It really sink in lite wind but when it start going you have only 3 sec to get into the strasp otherwise you are left behind!! All my jibe in the bay was sinked jibes, not enough wind in the swell.. Tide too low for the bar.. I wich I had the 55.. cant wait. Awesome boards, I seen the 41 nd 55 great product from ChrisL ;))
So tired with all the exploring and driving from last few days, great to squize a last sesh before going to work tomorrow.. was my birthday today and supposed to be at work but could not be fkd!!! I saw the end of the solar eclipse this morning as I was leaving SBay.
Well done Hards on the 19k and Mike for the distance!!

4392 days ago Tabou Thunder 70 (Oh Cheryl), NP RSR Eiii 7.8 kiddies sail, JP weed 36.
As usual last on the water today as I'm the only one with a conscience for work after listening to the wind howl all afternoon it was a bit disapointing to have to rig the 7.8 (was hoping for the little itty bitty 7.0m) but the wind looked a bit flukey so with my task for the day being tio get naughty rigged a larger sail to get through the holes, I did compromise by using my small board.
A seriously low tide today so I had to stay well out past the rock garden but jeeze it was so nice andflat past there I had to go plowing, bit nerve racking going through there knowing the fins rubbing the bottom, wore away about 5mm of G10 of the tip tonight.
Had a bit of fun in Alphaland trying to annoy the master but he got his alpha on and things are back to normal, would have had more fun down therer except my new boom clips are crap and kept popping out, still very happy with my alpha considering the peak speed was only 26.3. Gunna have to play with these corners a bit more I thunk.
Happy with the session,
Congrats to Stroppo on his PB.
Nice corner Hardz.
Hope youy're OK Adam, you've destroyed a few of those reactors now.
Once again destroyed by Pensioner power, Mike you give us all something to strive for

4392 days ago Good day out tried 4 distance with mike and the pensioner showed me up again how dose he do it gave up a bit early but never mind had a good time out there started in light wind so i went 4 my old 1985 tyronce falcon 220 liters that was the go and then the wind came in so i was glad 2 get of that ship and went 4 the good old bic 66 then when we stoped 4 a bite changed down sail size and had a go on mikes 60 just started 2 enjoy myself when the head of the foot strap screw broke in a gybe which was the only gybe i missed 4 the day so headed in and pluged in the nude 58 but then the wind droped so back on the bic 4 the rest of the sesh realised a few things today how much the different strategies play a part across the six catagories good learning day my first real try at distance today im happy with the result i got and even better we got some points used 4 boards gastra 7.0 and tr4 5.9 and 4 fins happy days

4390 days ago 1 categories All the gear!!!! Broke most of it.
Bad start to the day with a broken batten on my 5.6 Reflex II (blowing 25 knots at 6am.......had big plans. Since my 6.2 has a hole in it, (from a spin out the day before) I thought I might rig my brand new 5.1 Reflex III........Snapped the mast 4 cm from spec downhaul. Put my trusty old 400 blueline in it and didn't have much luck either. Long story but still no good. Cheers to crasher for the lone of the gear. had a quick run on the mistral 41, very nice!!!!!!!
