Tabou Thunder 70cm, NP RSR Eiii 7.0m, JP Weed 31cm

Recovery sail after being brutalised up in Cervantes for the speed trials.

Did one short Naughty which had a gybe in it, then played down in Alphaland trying to figure out this dry cornerning lark.

What I learnt today is numerous backwinds (I think there was about a 1/2 doz)  dosn't tickle, tried a few things flipping early flipping late to no avail, was just carrying to much speed throught the mid point of the gybe with the lowest about 15 most 17 and one 19, going to have to learn how to do a lay down as this board just carries to much speed through the bendy bitsUndecided

Didn't last to long out there, now feel broken with hand and elbow ligaments screaming blue bloody murder at me.

Thank goodness I didn't do the downwinder at Cervantes today, it would have been embarrasing having the rescue boat sent out for me twice up there.

Wind seemed a bit stronger today so used the 48 and 6.0 instead of the 53, started with the 19cm woody weedy, wasn't going very fast so decided to change to the 23.5 lockwood. That was a great improvement, but yesterdays results were better. Not sure if it's board, fin or sail outhaul, gave it a little bit more today, it felt light and slippery, but the numbers belie the feelings

Yes hardie, my best alpha was at 55m, but only a 23.4

Safety Bay with Jake (this guy is getting taller!!) got there late, around 4ish thinking the wind will pickup.. I was wrong ... again Cry I saw Peter coming out as I was rigging.. the wind went slowly down.. started on the Misty47 and I was really struggling but had so much pleasure when on the move that I only changed down to the 80L at the last minute when could not move!! I needed a 90L today which I am still waiting for... now for 4 months Yell. I wish I had more wind for the 47, after changing to the RRD it felt so sluggich and slow!! Speed on the 47 Alpha on RRD

Misty47-23Locky, RRD54-25SSP, 5.8RSR

good stuff guys to the naughty Cool, look like you had some wind!

I've got those 25 Litre Yellow plastic containers, good colour, and I've got some marine rope, so let me know Crash, need something to way them down, have some bricks, but they tend to wear the rope out eventually.  We need at least one out from Len Howard Bird Observatory and 100 metres downwind, and one in Alpha land

Slomo, an alpha marker needs to be about 300m out from the gybe spot, not at it!!!

Next time please fall off at a more useful position.
