Grumpy (8011km): Back in the muddy waters of qld. Nice seshion with some of the Burrum Mob. Hard work trying to make a big board go fast but had fun trying.

Pointman (25522km): Fun sesh at Peli in a pretty gusty and holey seabreeze. On the water @ 1.30 with the Mistral 112 + 7.6 TR7 + 40 Sting combo. Set up was sweet in the gusts, but I still had to dog through some big holes. Had a nice mile run bearing away toward the freeway, but I rounded up too early. I was averaging close to 30 for the first 1400m, but killed it by rounding up 400m short. I think the breeze was also backing off by then however. Breeze seemed to steady around 2 so I decided to mission up to Melville and look for some flatter water, cos the chop at Peli was getting pretty messy (stink boats + high tide = ugly chop). Flatter at Melville, but that was mainly due to the absence of any wind!! Didn't hang around long. Nice to get a sesh in on the 112
Windxtasy (13938km): Point Walter, WA, AU F111, 6.4K, 40CF There was no swell and not much wind so I asked Mark to join me on the river and impart some of his newfound gybing tips. Clearly they work! I made heaps of progress and did many of my best gybes ever. Still lots of room for improvement though. Thanks Mark!
JJ (25827km): Safety Bay, WA, AU Fun sail with Norts, suprisingly constant though light wind(18 to 20 knot). Could have done with a little more wind for the NM but happy with the result. Very happy with the new sail, it's nice and full even with max downhaul and very light. Improvement on 2011. All works straight out of the bag, just tightened a couple of battens. Rotation of cams is excellent. Isonic 86, Hot Sails GPS 7.3, Elmo 30 weedy.
lao shi (41082km): Short outing at Wallyworld with our Captain. Trying some step gybes and made a few that felt ok but well wide on proximity (a 23 @ 70m). A few good tacks also. Sorry I bailed early but still had the shopping to do! Windxtasy was gybing like a woman possessed as I left! Well done on the PB. Earlier foot change /rig flip and you will be smoking PBs.
