Adrian Vos (4142km): Lake Cootharaba, QLD, AU KA72 Link: http://www.ka72.com/TrackRecalc.aspx?fid=48826 Another great afternoon with the local bosy at Cootharaba. Unfortunately the wind was not as strong or fro as long. I went out on the Starboard GO with my 6.2 in the hope it would kick in and I could get out the small board, but it did not. Should have put up the 7.2, but still had heaps of fun cruising with that setup.
SeaSkip (2699km): Ebden, VIC, AU Gusty 10-20 knots, swinging WNW-SW making it a challenge. 6.6 GPS, 145 Rocket. Moved to a different spot, but not worth posting that :-( Hope for a better sesh on Saturday.
Sparky (3994km): Foreshore Rd, Botany, NSW, AU 84L JP Slalom IV, 5.3m North Ice, 29cm Select S09 Manic, mental, up and down wind - excellent fun but bloody tiring. I stacked my first gybe and put a massive hole in the middle panel, which took the area down to a more suitable 4.7-ish but didn't do wonders for the handling or upwind ability, strangely enough. But though I say so myself, 30kts downwind on 3/4 of a wave sail isn't a bad effort! My plan to get myself a 5.x slalom sail now becomes a necessity... hehe. Fair few people out. Good to meet Giorgio.
George (32558km): ![]() Foreshore Rd, Botany, NSW, AU 20-37 knts NW-W i101 /Koncept 5.8 & Simmer 4.2/ Drake 36 fin Always struggling, very gusty and never felt I had the right sail. It was good to meet Sparky |
