Very Gusty today, with Massive Holes of Nothing, Wind finally picked up at about 430pmish but after 3 hrs of grovelling with occassional spurts, I had nothing left.  Went and had a look at Liptons on way home, big crowd of windsurfers, looked better than Novara.  Good on the windsurfers for claiming that place back.  Elmo and I used to sail it about 8/9 years ago, and then we found hardies run.  Hardies run was heaps better 8 years ago, much more weed, now the weed has gone and the chop takes over.  Oh well been very spoilt of late.  Tr7 6.3m Falcon 85 Pepeweed 26cm 48degree rake

Day 3 of Mr Headaches visit (a pox on all who drink drive) and I'l be glad when he f'ks of again!

Sailed liptons today just because it was closer and I was feeling like shite again. Started out on the 54 Manta buit struggled with it and wasn't helping my cheerfull disposition, so Iwent back and hooked up the Thunder, instant results on the first run with an extra 4 knots and vastly easier.

Couldn't buy a decent run in cobbler corner of liptons so decided to play on our original speed spot of Point Grey, yeahargh very nice lots of flat better wind, did my best runs there, and laid down some deliberate Alphas there, a lot of fun.

Not a bad session to end my holidays, back to the grind tomorow.

Looked to be a lot of happy campers out today.

Coodanup Foreshore F2 105l,KaKoncept 6.6 Delta20cm. Later session after a dreadful drive back from Dunsborough. The sea breeze pushed a bit of water over the flats this afternoon and as a result Fangys run was brilliant water wise but a little too W initially wind wise. I can now say that i have finally been in enough wind to be  overpowered on the 6.6 today mainly because I was too pushed for time and lazy to go back in shore and crank things on a bit.I was too overpowered to get comfortable and not in enough control to do it justice. The Chutney Chaser run was on song also but a bit too full of crabbers and me not in enough control out in the chop to make it worthwhile. Lots of power + Delta fin+ bigish chop= sideways action.... But I had fun crashing around as per usual.Laughing
