Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU. Stoked with today considering there was a lot of chop but a lot of solid wind with some flatish patches. PB central today Especially the Froth, Greg, Johnny and Justin maybe Jamie welldone on Pbs. Larko did 5 runs over 40knts, Huey and Greg not far behind. Good stuff!! Tried out new 92 Patrik slalom today with my new Koncept 5.8, I,m stoked!! 18 delta. Go Marauders!!! Froth. Thats truly SICK good shit woooooooo. Loved those celebraition beers at the Budgie Pub.

Massive CONGRATS to all the PB'ers!! Frothie - 4 knot lift and not even in the straps!! Congrats mate, you thoroughly deserve that. Congrats Johnny, Mick and Justine, and Dion, and whoever else posts a PB!!

Disapppointed a lot in my numbers today. Rigged the 6.6 as it hit hardest and was totally out of control. People coming in as I launched asked me what I had rigged, and when I told them they kinda laughed..., should have known!! Up side for me was getting to use the 90L board for the very first time. Can feel the potential with it, so I'll take that as consolation...

I just think all the guys I sailed with are legends and so is the whole sport.

Fun session. Great to sail with the Forster crew, Steve, Greg and Dion.

Needed a bit more wind to keep the 45 up and going but couldnt be buggered walking out to upsize to the 79. Still, the 45 is a sweet board when there is enough wind, although I may just relegate it to LAke George and Harrington sessions from here on in and use bigger kit for Queens.

Good to see so many PBs in the line up today, congrats everyone. I expect we will see a fair few more when the forster crew get to upload tonight.

Made the mistake of going to Canton, too choppy to have a 6.6 up. Was fun trying to keep the JP on the water though, needless to say I didn't last long.

Was much better than spending the arvo at work though.

Finally get to post my Queens session after waiting for the GPS battery to flatten(3 days) and retreive my card. Expecting the worse, and not finding the data, but after saving to card and sorting out the sessions, all's well. 79, 23, 5.5.

Anyone finding they have had similar expeirences with their GPS freezing on a display and not having any funcions? I'd be interested to know if updating the firmaware may sort it or not. I've never had this problem with the first unit, which I updated the firmware on. The current unit has version V1.4(BO315C). I'll clear the data logger and re format the card as well as re set the unit and see how it goes. Cheers for any advice.

Simply spectacular Marauders!!!Top sessions all 'round. Big congrats to everyone on a great team effort and PB's galore.

Not sure when I'll be posting. Have a frozen screen on the GPS so will have to wait 'til the battery flattens to get the card out and post.Key lock doesn't work either. Bugger.

Great to sail Queens again with the 'locals'.Had a good time out there, but very hard to get the right gusts. Lots of shallow water made it tricky and scary add to that a fair bit of chop in spots on the wild gusts that must have been well over 30 knots for sure.Had to call it a day when I was getting the first signs of a cramp in the calf, but happy with the speed on the day.

what a great day Marauders, PBs galore, and so many close to the magic 4-oh!. Fantastic results north and south. Great that the Forster crew came up, was a very merry occassion. Great speed with such a monster fin Justin!  Killer alpha Micky.

sorry for nearly running you over Aza, I was following you down the bank on a gust and my harness strap let go, so i was trying to pull up and it was a little difficult as all of a sudden my arms were loaded up with all the power in the sail and I just wasnt ready for it. I saw you and Dion get some sweet runs towards the end of the session - looking fast fellas.

Guys, I have been getting cramps when I sail after the first 2 hrs, esp in cold water and gusty winds like today, so a naturopath put me onto a magnessium powder that your mix in water before doing sports - worked a treat, no cramps at all today, and I did a lot of walking through thick mud to get back to launch spots today so normally I would cramp up. The brand I used was Ethical Nutrients - Mega MAgnessium powder. Rasberry flavour....mmmmmmm, yummy. Available at all chemists.

Nic, from what I know the board is an old Long Reef Express slalom board 265 long and about 52cm wide and guess maybe 70lt ( my 80lt slalom doesn't sink as much as what this board does thus named the yellow sub, the board in my avatar pic ).

I donated the board to Anton when I upgraded my small board to help him progress in the sport.
