Huge CST turn out today. Usual nuclear to nothing wind but fun all the same. Some flat water, mixed with rising gusts made for some interesting moments. Good to sail with everyone, Especially my young fella. He hung on while I was well overdone on the 5.5 at times.Great effort being 40 KGs sopping wet. Big congrats to Duffy today. Monster effort Found the NM run right at the end before the wind shut off, very nice find Duffy and Stroppo.
STROPPO (33661km): Birchmont, WA, AU Herron pt sesh with the crew the day started with glassy conditions and some banter then it went nuts huey turned on the loud switch and it was game on. I rigged the 6.6 and did a few runs and came in then out on the 5.8. I was still over cooked in the gust but soldiered on but was out classed by Ryan the hellman Duffy who was going well on his 6.6 and he weighs nothing dont know how he did it. The day was going nice with lots of fun had by all and a few bruises by the end by all what a great place every time we sail here its awesome the team went for dist, nm and hr. Ji was going hard just like his Dad and is going really well for the conditions welldone Ji Super to see so many CST out welldone everybody great stuff JP 78 NUDE STREAKER 58 HSM GPS 6.6,5.8 PEPE WEEDY 26,MAUI ULTRA WEED 32 HAPPY DAYS I took some pics and will post them next. and my track from today

Started off on my 3.7, over powered so changed down to my 3.0, had a great sail towards the end once I was on the right sail. I was stocked to sail with most of the CSP Top effort guys.

Early start to the day in anticipation of the nuclear winds.....yup, you guessed it, NOTHING!!!! Wind finally kicked in with the first squall around 9am with a half hour or so between them to start off with, finally Huey came good at around 11ish (as per Tomski's prediction :-) Set off for an hour with the 86/6.6/27 combo and felt a little overdone to start with but at around the half hour mark I was glad to have the extra canvas and grip, accidentally found a super flat section and stayed with it to se out the hour before heading in for some lunch. By this stage CST were out in full force with Stroppo, Rod, Shane, Adam, Tom, Jai and (of course) myself present Sailed all over the bay and stumbled across a sweet NM run with a big sign saying 'BYO Brass ones' First run sketchy but easy from then on. NICE! Logged up a few more KMs before heading in and grabbing the Speed board to do a few runs with the tide starting to help calm the waters.
Top day out with the crew!
