paddymac (10937km): Melville Beach, WA, Patrik 155, Cross 6.4m, CL2-38 Fairly flat today with some nice gusts but the holes were massive. Lots out enjoying their Sunday.
Snake (23888km): Great team day at Liptons Probably the best day I've had at this spot. The tide was perfect for normal fins and the wind was just about right for comfortable blasting! Hour was on the SP47. Sonic 85 / CA47, FO Weedster 28/ Slingshot 21, RB 6.3
lao shi (41082km): Dutchies Strange weather. Almost like a winter front. Some fun lumps down near phoneboxes. Loft Purelip 5.4, Rider quad
AC1 (2505km): Peel Inlet, WA, AU Xfire 90, overdrive 7.0, 29 speed weed
JJ (25827km): Peel Inlet, Liptons Fun afternoon - big number of crew out on the water and a good Pinna turnout Seemed a bit gusty so stayed with the M91 all afternoon, best speeds over at Point Grey. Had 4 NM attempts - it was a couple of knots faster on the inside run. Mistral 91, KA Koncept 7, CL SW 28

Obelix (3335km): Pelican Point, -another gybe session. Managed a few more than the last time. The fin broke at 25 knts, and I had an intersting tumble as a result. That's the fourth (and last) black fin that broke under me without hitting anything. Starting to think that the common denominator is me...
bono (2104km): Coodanup, WA, AU2day coonville 2morrow liptons
Lunny (42007km): Peel Inlet, WA, AU Not overly wrapped with those numbers. Think the delta was a bad choice today, spun out many times. I'd like to do that again though. Hang on, why didnt i just change fins derrrr!! Xfire 102, Mistral 91, ReflexII 7.0, Delta 21
Hooksey (2406km): another bash at port beach. Rigged my 6.6m koncept and realised (thanks to Jesper who spotted it from 50m) that my bottom cam was oiut of wack. Upon closer inspection it turned out the there was a big tear in the fabric inside the sleeve. Pulled out the cam and sailed it anyways. As a result of not having the bottom cam the pressure in the sail was very unreliable and I'm surprised that I cracked 30knt (just). Not the best sail and i think the beer at Salt was better.

Lezz (4333km): Peel Inlet, WA, AU 105 rocket, 31 weed, 6.5 easy. My fast alphas must have been too wide. It was a fun day.
Windxtasy (13938km): Peel Inlet, WA, AU 5.7K M47 Tribal 21 weedy A fun session at Liptons with a good bunch of Pinnaroos and others. It was a bit like a GPSTC reunion there were so many of us there. The wind was very westerly and a bit late coming in so I sent Jake out to be the wind bunny to give us a report on how the wind was over the other side. He came in saying it was rather light so I put on the big board with the 5.7 sail. In the time it took me to get dressed the wind swung southerly and strengthened. I decided a smaller board was the go and was just about to plug it in when the speed bunny returned to say the wind had picked up and that a smaller board would be a good idea. Jake and JJ excitedly zoomed across the estuary for a nautical mile. I decided to follow. I had an exciting spin out and unhook in the middle of the channel which dropped my speed to 15 knots but the nm was still almost 26knots. Flat water was hard to find so I thought I'd do another nm run down Ward Point. This proved more successful and revealed some flatter water, where I concentrated my efforts at speed. I managed 2 runs over 33 knots today (which is a first) and had the sun not been setting I may have scored another 5X10 PB, because the average of my top 4 runs was better than my PB, but I decided I'd better head back as the sun was very low in the sky. Just as well I did because the sun had sunk below the horizon by the time I got back to base, I was last off the water, and it was nearly dark when I was packing up. Pretty happy. A top 5 2 sec (my top 5 2 secs are now all above 33 knots), and a second best 5X and nm. Definitely a top 5 Liptons day! The only downside - a broken windscreen. I hit the rear vision mirror with my board as I was manoevering it into position and cracked the windscreen. The alpha was a "step off" gybe - where I gybed nicely but grounded the fin so I stepped off to release it and then stepped straight back on again! For some reason this pic wouldn't load yesterday...
