Stanley, TAS, AU  One big gust. So Todd and I rigged up the small gear   ....   then it fizzled out. So mostly a long way underdone.  Ahh well  ... you get that.

nice fun day on the water, the wind was good at times for my rig but square to the sand bar, so as soon as you dived off you hit the chop.

a lovely cruisy afternoon sail. For me anyway, i missed the best of the wind, farting around having lunch instead of rigging up. Well done to all, with some very impressive speeds!!

Epic Road trip today up to Port Sorell! Hadnt sailed here before, so it took me a while to get used to the run and sailing in such flat water. By the time I got that and all of my kit properly sorted out all the best wind had gone, but still had lots of fun and ill be ready for the next time! Great to meet some of the northerners, you're all legends and everyone sailed really well today.

Port Sorrell, TAS, AU  Starboard W49, Severne Overdrive 5.6, Slingshot 23.

A great day, with a good crew out, mostly sunny and the occassional squall!!  Only realy did one good run and that started off fairly over-powered and just as I settled in enough going along the sand-bar a squall came through, so beared off into the chop!! None off my other runs were above 40.  Changed to the new W44 after my 45+ knot run and it felt good, but not enough wind.  Port Sorell is such a great place to sail!!

Fergus and Jock were going for it!!
