Andrew Haigh (50238km): Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU F2 Missile speed board 17 delta and 5.9 TR9 Should have got up earlier, it was a good solid 30kts when I arrived (7.30am). Rigged the 5.9, but by the time I was ready it had backed off.
James Farley (12722km): Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU JP Slalom 84, TR8 7.0, Delta 19 - Wind S 5-18 knots Blowing a gale at home when the cold front came though, but had backed off by the time I got to Budgewoi at 9:30am after school drop off. Had two good runs, but the rest of the time just barely planing. Good to get the little board on the water, can't wait to really let it loose off the wind in a good breeze.
Bruce Healey (24292km): Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU Looked like I was too late. Mick and Johnny packing up as was a bit up and down. Rigged 7.7 and Casl62 which turned out Ok. Planing most of the time and some good gusts. Tibi looked fast today. Sue came in as I went out. Very nice arvo.

Byron Mcilveen (64411km): Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU TR11 6.6, CA44 and Pederson slalom, delta 17 and home made carbon 19 delta. howling at my place when I got up but not be down there many disapointed sailors hoping for more wind. But hey nice way to start the day befor going to work so all good. Now home posting and having a beer at 1 am. Fun sail with all the regulars. Top speed was on my 90s modle slalom board as there was just not enough wind.
sboardcrazy (25098km): 15-23kts S Buff Pt Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU- very unenthused driving down. Felt tired and old and blowing c 30kts. Didn't feel like battling with the speed board so very happy when it dropped to more like 23kts or less once there ( sorry guys).. Andrew out on his speed board. Seems like all Lake Mac sailors are going to Budgy..wonder why..( jaws theme)...James,Byron, Hugh, Tony, Later Tibor and Bruce, Mick , Milsy , ( Forthie but didn't go out)- Happy birthday Frothie! Just what the dr ordered a nicely powered sail on my favourite combo- 5m OD + 79 falcon + 17cm delta ( now 16.5 after grounding on rocks ). Not really powered enough for fantastic speeds but fun. I haven't been gybing much lately and pushed myself to gybe and more powered up in the chop. After muffing the first few started to get them which felt good. need to start bearing off as I exit more. Came in for a bite and was going to go back out with the 6.6m but it wasn't rigging right and Byron discovered I'd broken the bottom batten. So put the 6m on and back out. new I'd be underpowered ( more holes than wind by now) + the boom was giving ominous creaks and looked a bit dodgy so I didn't stay out long. Only problem with sailing often you wear your gear out.. Anyway got home to find several messages re my mum. She had a massive stroke 18 months ago and has been lying in a nursing home bed paralysed ever since. She's now dying so I raced off down to see her and say what needed to be said. Hopefully she will pass soon and not suffer much longer. Everyone including her want her to go- very sad .
