Duffy (6171km): 63 JP Speed, 5.7 RRD Firewing, 20 CL SL3 Weed Arrived at the Beaver around 2pm, El' Capitano Tomski was just returning to the beach and gave me the run down on the conditions. Tide still wasnt quite high enough for the outside run. Breeze had a tad more punch than yesterday, 2nd run inside was faster than yesterdays effort then went outside and had a 39.07 on the dial! Couldnt match that as hard as i tried, lots of mid 38s and some pretty nice 5x10s. Decided to call it a day as all the grip on my boom had dissapeared and the hands were taking a battering. Few good days still to come this week, yeehaa!!!

Got a "welcome back to the SB" present 10 mins into my sail. Smashed by some teabager's kite. Swolen OTHER foot (x-ray tomoza I thinks). Was about to flag it when Duffy convinced me to go back out. The bar was still really shallow and with the bung foot decided to grab the 91 instead of a speed board. Lucky I did as I couldnt put my foot in the rear strap on the PORT tack, but starboard was ok-ish(front foot). By the time I could sail over the bar the good bits were over. Congrats to Duffy, his first few runs looked super slick. Big monos Fun but the 22 wasn't quiet enough to get the 91 flying. That's enough of excuses, just didn't send it today | ||||||||||||||||||

I was prob on the wrong board but never mind and very happy with my alpha as I only tried one as terry followed me into the top corner! Stoked to see so many pb's on the GPSTC tonight. I think all WA windsurfers are loving a good forecast all this week! JP78 130LTR HSM GPS 6.6 MAUI ULTRA DELTA 24 HAPPY DAYS |
