Kyeemagh, NSW, AU || Building NEr || 118 Manta 7.0 Titan 44cm Light Wind Slalom

Forced to sail an early session due to work starting at 4pm, but managed to score the first hour of planing conditions. Looking forward to reading others' account of how the afternoon will pan out...

Fantastic afternoon on the water. John and I started about 2pm with Rick, just as Andrew was coming in. After an hour it really came through. Not so gusty and reasonably flat. I caught a lucky gust along the runway with a 34, but try as I might I couldn't beat it.

The Rocket is just such an amazing board. Fast and so easy to ride in the chop. Lovin' the Rocket and Severne R8 Overdrive. Such a good combination.... just like steak and chips, bacon and egg, cheese and crackers, vegimite and toast, bangers and mash, pork and apple sauce, and my favorite popcorn and butter. Damn.... I'm hungry ;)

Great to sail with teamies, Barks, Dieter, John and Craig. Plenty of others out too.

Launched from Packers Point again. Jamie also turned up lured by the forecast. Awesome day, pure intensity and fun, I think I did more planing jibes today than in my whole windsurfing career, did not care if they were too wide, too much fun.

Quick blat after work. Rigged small as it was cranking when I arrived.

Was heaps of fun out there today with teamies and others.

Congratulations on your Alpha PB D. Nice turning.
