Got there at lunch, forgot my mast. One hr return trip to Jamberoo.
Thought I'd start with the Spd Board and the 26 Lessacher. Water too shallow to beach start. Wasted another 45mins.
Swapped to Naish SP95 and 18 Delta. Delta let me get in everywhere but didn't handle the slightest chop and couldn't crank the 7m in the gusts.
Oh well, still good to have some breeze. Maybe tomorrow.

Really enjoyed today nothing better than Primbee with some west in it. Struggled with my back strap very difficult board to get in, will chang back to my freeride naish till i'm more confident on the full slalom board. If only we could have that every week, improving would be so much easier.

2684 days ago Wow - what an amazing dawn session. On the water at 6:30 and the wind for the next hour and a bit was just perfect - pure west, steady, long runs all the way to Windang and back. Words can't describe watching the sunrise over Primbee from on the water at 30 knots. Almost spiritual. I wish I had Dezza's go pro ability to have captured it for you all. Reckon I nailed 59 planing minutes out of the hour score. Unfortunately jagged just one lull but it didn't last long.
Hopefully there's an arvo session to be added. There's a crowd of hopefuls beginning to congregate at Primbee...
Fanatic Falcon 104, North Warp 7.0, MUF Delta XT20.
First real use of the Delta 20 XT in the Falcon and I'm very happy. 20cm depth opened up the entire weed bed for sailing, right into the shoreline - something I've never previously been able to do. Let go about half a dozen times only in about 1.5 hours sailing. Well worth it!
***5 x 10, naughty and distance now updated to incorporate afternoon session. Grrr - got another broken batten to fix....

Arrived late for the night shift hoping that the forecast for the wind to pick up after 4pm would come true. I took a risk and rigged the 6.4 even though it looked more like 7.0 to 7.8 at 3:30pm. I really wanted to power up my latest modification to my high wind slalom board "Chester 3" but only got a handfull of bearaways, with only one gust really powering up the 6.4.
The beanie was definitely needed after sunset as the temperature dropped but so was the wind, it just wasn't picking up. I sailed around until dark and tryed out my headlamp but it was too dangerous. I could only see 5mts ahead. Not enough when sailing at speed.
Maybe tomorrow.
