Early start @ Primbee, NSW, AU

Blew it's head off overnight at Jamberoo so I was on the road by 5:30. A few trees on the road so it was fairly cranking. Rigged a 6.3 and was on the water just before sunrise. Got 4 runs on iSonic W49 before wind completely shut down as the sun arrived. Unfortunately just as Eckers hit the water.

Sat it out for a while as Eckers blasted around on his Formula in a building breeze. He was having a hoot !! Finally enough breeze for me again so out with the 7.0 and the SP95. Nothing ballistic but good alpha conditions. Swapped down to the 6.3 for another stint then called it quits.

Lots of Speedsters and Gustbusters still there when I left. Hopefully the conditions hold out !!?

Loft RB6.3, iSonic W49, BP Weed Speed 50 25

Loft RB7.0, Naish SP95, Unifiber Weed 26 then Loft RB6.3

Ah Primbee...from the sublime to the ridiculous.

Rendezvous with Jetlag just before dawn.  Wind is cranking and we are debating 6.3s or 5.8s.  Of course we would both be on the smallest boards we own.  Jet hit the water and got 5 mintues of fun.  Wind dies as I hit the water.  Jet cracked a 37 on his speed board....the sublime bit

Derigged, put up the 7.5 Gaastra Matrix and readied the 104 Falcon, but with the wind dying further, I knew I had to try my new, lightwind Primbee combo - 158l, 100cm wide Starboard freeformula with MUF Delta XT 26...the ridiculous bit.

Fin worked a dream!  Formula board early planing ability with only 26cm draft - had a blast ripping around Primbee as the wind ummed and ahhed about whether to fill in.   Plenty of grip, plenty of pointing ability. Packed up when the brownie points ran out and some real wind kicked in.  Very happy with the new Delta XT in the Freeformula.

Never thought I'd be posting a 30+ knot 2 second on a Formula board on the Primbee weed flats!

Primbee, NSW, AU       All of the wind in the morning, nothing this arvo, strongest at the Windang end.

With the high tide had a few runs down to the end of the caravan park, pretty smooth.

Some tree branches and crab pots along the NM that we have to get rid off.

Tabou 95l Rocket  NP 5.8 Evo7   Yeah I know, why dont I change my undies!

Green Island, QLD, AU. SE up to 18 knots or so.

Very low tide enabled a very sweet sail on the northern run. Smooth water, warm weather - paradise!

Well done on the alpha Nudie. We're all still learning and teaching at the same time. How awesome is that !! Eckers, need to start a new category for formula shallow water speed. You made it look easy, which I'm certain it's not.
