You lucked into a good one Bob, well apart from busting  your boom.  Didn't slow you down much  once you got it sorted. Great to see you smokin down the bank, hope to  score another one with you somewhere, sometime.

After seeing Jonski post a better hour after yesterday and Kel giving me some motivational 'second place again' speaking. I thought I had better do another hour today.  Thought I was wasting my time to start with, rigged the wrong sail and had to walk back on the low tide to rerig. Then couldn't seem to avoid the dry weed beds.  After a bit, found the right line and settled in, last 20 minutes got a bit challenging with the increasing chop through the deeper areas. So dam lucky to get in front by such a narrow margin.

Marion Bay, TAS, AU   Absolutely brilliant late session at Marion, best I have seen it, nicely powered up on the 5.7 for a "good" 1 hour finally. Funny thing honking along flat out crosswind at 24 or 25 knots and then have Kaleb motor past doing 5 knots more!  Started doing some bearaways after the 1 hour and found some really flat water ... because it was only 15cm deep, did a big catapult at 31 knots, harness exploded (had to go searching for the bar!), did a nice back-slam and head-butted the sand (I hope it knocked some sense into me ). Luckily all OK apart from the harness (carbon booms are strong). Happy with the NM PB as it included a gybe! Well done Kaleb an another master-class!

Fun late session after work, only time to do the hour and then get out of there. Should have been on the 6.2, wind was a bit up and down..

Can't wait to get back here and have a good play..

Saw the night rider(Tim) ride off into the sunset and not re-appear for what seemed a long time, nearly went and looked for him but he appeared just in time..
