South Arm Neck Beach, TAS, AU

Lucky to get the wind that we did, unfortunately it was a bit gusty and shifted around a bit. Great funCoolMight have gone a bit deep at the end and took over an hour to get back up to the car.

Mortimer Bay, TAS, AU IS101, NP evo 3 6.2, T43 32cm now a little shorter after runing into some rocky oystery thing.

Hard work today, wasnt that windy but really gusty and had trouble tuning the gear. got it together for a about 20min before the wind died. Then the long walk back accross the mudflats to the car. Cool

Brilliant Kaleb Surprised, great catch of that southerly change. Was itching to come down South Arm way but couldn't escape Frown. Suppose Steve is about to post (noticed his car and trailer were missing late afternoon!)?

Just looked at the tracks. Great hour Steve, considering you didn't do the "big Kaleb bearaway"!  Maybe a bit lucky to get back before the wind died Kaleb, don't know if anyone else would be game to be downwind halfway to the city and far across the river on the 90 at 6pm?

I had about 26.4 before bearing off, intention was to just keep going and try to get it up further. Hit a big hole in the middle of the river(luckily) so turned for home and the painful bash back through the chop.

November has been pretty good this year. A few wavesails and kite sessions to fill in some of the gaps. Unfortunately no speed sessions in the state for some time now, heres hoping for some big blows in December.

Nice catch of that Southerly fella's, was watching it and there seem to be so many wind shifts. The river after 5pm ended up SSW, dark and gloomy. Never thought of Mortimer. Kaleb you should have down a big downwinder to Sandy Bay then caught the bus homeLaughing
