George (32558km): Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU ||20-30 S RS2/ Koncept 6.6/Delta XT22 ; Patrik Speed 48/ Koncept 5.8/ Delta 18 ; JP69/ Koncept 5.4/ Delta 18 Awesome speed day after so long, could finally play with my new toys: thanks Artur ! The alpha was done with the rs2, best speed with the Patrik. Then I broke a batten after crashing a jibe with the patrik, so rigged smaller and took the jp which is easier. I did faster jibes with the jp, too wide but a lot of fun. Not sure if I can sail tomorrow, too sore... | ||||||||||||||||||
Erik (2432km): La Perouse, NSW, AU. 85L Tabou Rocket Air, 28cm fin, 5.5m sail. I thought I would avoid the traffic, sea lice and debris around Kyeemagh or Sans Souci and I did but it wasn't comfortable at La Perouse/ Yarra Bay with the wind varying so much I was either sinking or flying, huge rolling swell on the outer half, of course chop, rocks downwind and no other windsurfer to share it with. I had to give it a go being so close to home but I think I'll try more familiar places next time.

Remi Dunoyer (24497km): Kyeemagh, NSW, AU Exocet Cross 84 - Mauisails Global 4.7 Great fun in the 30+ knots wind. |
