Canton Beach, NSW, AU 15-25kt WSW-SW || Exocet RS6, 7.7 S2 Venom, 42 JP

Mid to late morning session; fresh to strong SWer. Overdone a bit especially to begin with, plus there was initially more west in it for runs over the deeper choppier water. Then it swung a few degrees south and backed off a bit for some comfortable sailing. First go of the S2 Venom. Really impressed! Easy to rig, light in the hands, rotates well and looks the part. Big thanks to Remi at the Windsurfing Shed. Despite a bit less downhaul than desired (the Chinook extension not as accurate as I thought and I hadn't much spare time to re-tune), the Venom was still very easy to handle. A little adjustment next session though and it should be spot on. Caught up with Gareth and Wayno.
