Andrew (15048km): Narrabeen Lake, NSW, AU || 2-22kt SSW || Exocet RS6, 7.7 S2 Venom, 42 JP Quick lunch time splash at the local. Mostly just floating around waiting for the occasional punch from the SSW. Not that it was ideal testing conditions, but I did manage to get the Venom's DH to exactly to 1cm past spec as is recommended. Had some fun with a few non-planing gybes - after the foot change held them clew first for longer than ever before - great feeling!
Dean Seal (2158km): Patrik 115 OD 7.0m Good sail with the locals and everyone had a bit of a chat due to the cooler weather I think. Rodder's back in the groove. Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU
Rodskeg (909km): Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU 110 Atomic, 22 Delta, 6m NCX Great meeting a few locals and having a blast
AlfaMale (19018km): Budgewoi was planned... but when I drove past StG, the A/P it all seemed a bit light. Checked the Newcastle live wind at 15kts was way below forecast 30kts, so aborted the 2.5 hr drive and stayed closer to home. Happy with the 35kts peak and fun NM with a gybe on the run back downwind. I had a few fun bear-aways behind the sandbar, but the wind seemed a touch lighter as I turned the corner. Perhaps just a sideeffect of the apparent wind/pressure drop! Then the wind dropped off rapidly. Good to see about 5 out in the arvo... shout out to Gary, Conan, Ken, Ferret (tried to splash me but missed!) !
