Well that is a bit of a surprise, watch showed the 24.13 Alpha but not the final result, checked with GPSresults and GPSspeed, strange but happy with the result. Great catching up with Mike, Strop, Lunny, Mark and even Tom who was focused and ripping it out in the chop on a slapper. One more day of wind tomorrow, some more fun ahead. Oh weedburgs are about and I don't know what fangys going on about crabs, well at least there where none in the waterLaughing

Some pretty wild gusts coming through however the water chopped up and made it as rough as the mother in law (ok nearly as rough)

plus the weedbergs hard to see.

A few of them are pretty thick and a tad intimidating.

I tried the BP Kestrel which was ok but no good in the chop so i flicked over to the Tribal weedy.

A few out which was great company.

Awesome to meet Mal from the Pit Crew, shame it wasn't the usual smooth for you Mal

A horrible shifty, gusty breeze today. Not many out today, with good reason but still good to catch up and chat with the locals oh and a short sail too.

Winter is back. Was about to go to the chook pond but decided to stay local as it is fairy turn season. A bit of a frustrating sail in the gusty winds. Probably more gusty than yesterday. One lucky run today.

Noice job Peskys! That's a crackin' alpha Boz CoolLaughing

Nice going Boz.

yes the watch results can be different, it uses doppler to calculate the 50m separation instead of trackpoints. I bet if you measure the seperation with GPSResults, it will be just under 50m.

The other difference, it doesn't do short alphas either, min toytal length is 300m so some low speed alphas don't show up either.

Sensational  alphas guys, and a very well deserved  PB Boz! Superb!

Great back up, Lunny.

It was a top idea to go for  alphas  again  today.  That has boosted  our  score very nicely.

I have woken  up in the middle  of the night  to see how you  went. I might  have  trouble  going  back to sleep  now. Go Pinnaroos!

Whoo hoo! It looks like we have won the spring cup again, by a very good margin. Some wind arrived just in time. Good work, lads, and great captaining by Boz in my absence. Great team work. I am very proud of you all.
