Unreal sail at Marion, it just got windier and windier as the afternoon went on. Thank you Santa for delivering some great wind for Christmas.
The weed bed seems to have shrunk a bit but still made enough flat water for a 2sec run.
Fair few crew out there as well, Bear, Stu, Steve, Tim, Al & Dave.

Not that easy to get good speeds for some reason even though it was quite windy. GPS went flat at some stage but probably didn't make much difference.
We had a break (and charged GPS) and waited for the tide to come in enough to sail the first channel. Once it was deep enough to sail the tide came in very fast so we only got about 45 min.

Great day at Marion. Started with the 6.2 and straight into a 1hr, but just too windy and rough, so stopped after 30 minutes and came in and rigged down to a 5.5 (still fully powered up)!
That's about as windy as Marion gets! Woohoo!!
