I think I finally found my ceiling. Today was beyond my paygrade but good to see some of the topguns pounding the chop as well as some definate up and comers to watch in the near future. Well done on taking on today's conditions Ant and Kai. You looked way to comfortable and I'm sure some PB's are coming. Also expecting Mark to have some great numbers, who looked very comfortable with the big speed guns out there. Winds were epic and the squalls were unsailable for this light weight. Reed / speed bank was mostly underwater so no flat water, but still better than out in the middle. Session finished with a catcpult and broken boom. The carpark had good right handers today.

Arrived to a keen crew ready to sail the pond in crazy conditions. Never seen such a big tide there or sailed in such strong gusts. The run which was mostly choppy was well hidden for most of the time so much that sailing over was easily done into the next channel. A few sunny patches showed the outline of the bank and a few flatter spots appeared for a couple of nice runs. Also exposed the tree branches too which addded to the intensity. Saw a peak of 41.90 and happy with the day. Would have loved more but getting speed in the chop to the flat was left to the experts who will post too. Its not a totally free experience with some super heavy wipeouts in the chop at the end of the run. Great to see Kai and Ant out exploring the pond and Flatchat owning the wipeout of the day from what I saw. Great to see Jonski, Windsup, Stroppo and Slowy going hard. Top day

Had an epic sail in the Chook Pond with a few of the Pinnas. It was great seeing everyone charging along the sandbank in nuclear conditions. Thanks to the boys for the tips on where to sail and how to there. I was fully powered on the 5.4 NX and 57 Windtech, with a 29 CL weedy.

Pretty fun bump and jump session today. Wind up and down so could have rigged any sail and would have been OK. Not much rigging space today as the high tide flooded most of the grassed area.
