Coodanup, WA, AU

I think I finally found my ceiling. Today was beyond my paygrade but good to see some of the topguns pounding the chop as well as some definate up and comers to watch in the near future. Well done on taking on today's conditions Ant and Kai. You looked way to comfortable and I'm sure some PB's are coming. Also expecting Mark to have some great numbers, who looked very comfortable with the big speed guns out there. Winds were epic and the squalls were unsailable for this light weight. Reed / speed bank was mostly underwater so no flat water, but still better than out in the middle. Session finished with a catcpult and broken boom. The carpark had good right handers today.

Boundary Island, Peel Estuary, WA, AU

Arrived to a keen crew ready to sail the pond in crazy conditions. Never seen such a big tide there or sailed in such strong gusts. The run which was mostly choppy was well hidden for most of the time so much that sailing over was easily done into the next channel. A few sunny patches showed the outline of the bank and a few flatter spots appeared for a couple of nice runs.  Also exposed the tree branches too which addded to the intensity. Saw a peak of 41.90 and happy with the day. Would have loved more but getting speed in the chop to the flat was left to the experts who will post too. Its not a totally free experience with some super heavy wipeouts in the chop at the end of the run. Great to see Kai and Ant out exploring the pond and Flatchat owning the wipeout of the day from what I saw. Great to see Jonski, Windsup, Stroppo and Slowy going hard. Top day Laughing

Boundary Island, Peel Estuary, WA, AU

Had an epic sail in the Chook Pond with a few of the Pinnas. It was great seeing everyone charging along the sandbank in nuclear conditions. Thanks to the boys for the tips on where to sail and how to there. I was fully powered on the 5.4 NX and 57 Windtech, with a 29 CL weedy.

Boundary Island, Peel Estuary, WA, AU..Recon trip to the chook pond.Appreciate all the tips on where to sail and launch from the boyz.will invest in a pair of booties after experiencing for the first time being bit by a crab :0  Fantastic to watch the boyz sending it big time.A few gnarly squalls and white outs coming through. Was full power on the 4.8 Hucker ,90 ltr RRD and a 27 weedie.

Melville Beach, WA, AU

Pretty fun bump and jump session today. Wind up and down so could have rigged any sail and would have been OK. Not much rigging space today as the high tide flooded most of the grassed area.

Tim, Respect for getting up so early and taking it on despite the superhigh storm surge. Sorry you missed out on the PBs.

Well done Tim, if its any consolation that last crash looked epic from the end of the bank.

Great speeds Mark you looked to be having fun walking on the tail through the chop.

Excellent set of PBs Kai and well earned. Good to see you and and Ant enjoying the buzz in the pond. Pity it wasn't really flat!

Slowie, I thought you must have thought I was still attached, because you kept staring at it expecting me to appear, although I was about 30m behind you. By far my best aerial to date.

Super PBs Kai! A big jump in 2 sec and 5X, and well earned. I am sure it wasn't choppy by your standards but a good test of skill regardless. A well deserved 5X jellybean to add to your swag as well.

Ant, well done on two second best scores, just a smidgeon below your PBs. You must feel cheated, but pumped for Kai.

Congratulations to all who ventured out today and came back in one piece!

I think I was wise to sit this one out, but at the same time I do feel I missed out on an adventure.
