Melville Beach, WA, AU. 6.2 NX Sailworks,90 RRD,99 Falcon,32 and 34 Martin Love pointer. Some over powerd squalls coming through then nothing. Heaviest rain i have seen in a long time. Plenty of crew out enjoying it.

Ventured into the Chook Pond with fellow mad buggers.

Pretty gusty wind, not too chilly but old Captain Hindsight reckons i might have been better on a bigger board and sail.

Ahh well still enjoyable with a bonus of Stroppo sharing his chocolate bar with me and Woody having a very entertaining stack.

Boundary Island, Peel Estuary, WA, AU

Fun quick session with Lunny, Dan, Boz and Stroppo. Mostly chatting waiting for the change of direction. A few runs big crash at the end of the 40 run then school pickup so hopefully it came in with my leaving early. Tried the Mistral 57 with a 24 WP and Vapor 5.6.

Took the arvo off, great to be on the water with a good bunch of speedsters, no mojo today but a lot of fun. Great to see the boys sending it and the day goes to the big fella strop. We were in a lull for a good 40 minutes and people where walking out of the pond as it looked like the wind had shut of. Bit of gas bagging with strop and a small puff of wind came up so we though at least we don't have to walk out, well the small puff turned to a screamer, strop made the most of it on the last run and Im sure he got the 40 on the dial on that run, was epic run considering we only wanted to get out without a walk of shame. Alas I was buggered by that time so really didn't make the most of it. Happy with the 2 sec but there was defo more to be had late in the arvo for aout 20minutes.

Chookpond, Mistral 95, SV Mach2 6.2, Windtech 20cm Delta

Missed the best of the breeze so spent a lot of time standing around waiting for wind, but fun session anyway

New fin from Neil worked really well.

Boundary Island, WA

1st time down at the Chook Pond with a bunch of enthusiatic speed freaks (Lunny, Woody, Stroppo, Pacey, Decrepit, Boz). Booted in late in the afternoon just as I was leaving the pond and had a hectic run back to the carpark. Heaps of fun and also good to test out the new small wireless logger that just arrived from Julien. Feeling a bit sore today as the fitness levels aren't where they should be. Heaps of fun though and good to catch up with the crew. It's been a while. Also tested out new eliptical fin from Neil (16cm) and Pacey was on the 20cm. The 16 was a little small for my setup with the WindTech 57 and 6.3 Loft sail but managed to get a 37 on it before I switched to the 20. Very glad I took the day off work.

Well done Dan, nice to get a PB first time in the pond. Sorry for hogging the 20cm fin, you may have trouble getting it back from me now!
