AlfaMale (20472km):  6 categories       Short blast at Kurnell, between Christmas shopping and Carols at the local church tonight... Good to see Baz, Ken, and the local crowd. TRX7.7 was perfect. Now has a small hole prob from harness hook or helmet... ERD 36cm fin was stable, few slides probably my fault. Exo RS4 was great... now has a crack. Def my fault.
Fully powered up on a ~30kt run and BAM! Hit a chop caught the lee rail and the sail went down faster than a foil! Smashed mast into boards nose right down the centre line and harness hook took me into the sail. Damn they build Maui Sails tough! It hurt! Thankfully I had a helmet on. Didn't feel like sailing much after that big wipeout so headed home.
