Quick blast in the pond befor work. Was looking a little doubtful as i launched but after a bit of standing around in the mud the skys opened, the sun came out and the wind came in with enough to power the 70NX,91RS2,27ws...Good to catch up with Boz and Flex.

What a nice day, wasn't too cold wiNd wasn't strong apart from maybe one gust but company was good. Nearly went to Liptons but as I was just leaving Fangys spyed Flex driving down the road so decided to keep him company, soon to be oined by ANT as well, just a nice day on the water.

Coodanup, WA, AU. Arrived same time as Boz but realised I forgot my helmet as been playing around with some DIY GPS mounts.  This meant no gopro too which was a shame as always stuff to see.    Seemed to struggle at the start with lots of spin outs and crashing all right hand gybes and considered going back for a bigger fin but stuck with it and got into the swing of things after a bit.   Wind was good, best run was right at the start with lots of rain then Antman joined us and the wind died. We all sat there for what seemed about an hour then the wind kicked in again, the sun came out and a rainbow was over us for a good hr.  A sea Eagle seemed to be struggling for minutes in the water and not able to take off.   Turned out it had caught the biggest fish ever.   Eventually it got it just out of the water and skimmed it across the water well into the sandfire before stopping to eat. Was pretty cool to watch.  Boz left but the wind was still around so decided to keep going...noticed the GPS battery reading zero at around 90km...got to around 97km (on apple watch) and the wind dropped right off.   Chugged around a bit then decided to give up.  Wind picked up near the end but the GPS had died so didn't quite get the 100. The DIY GPS had tons of battery left but seemed to have locked up somewhere along the line so only the apple watch recorded the extra few km.  Tabou 120 rocket, 6.7 RRD move, 22FF

A lovely day at Liptons with Decrepit and Waricle (Hardie put in an appearance in the car park).  Average age on the water at one stage was 73!  New Mach 4, 6.2, my reliable old Starboard 86 Slim and a weed speed fin of my own manufacture seemed to work OK but lack of flat water was an issue.  My 2sec peak was disappointing but I was happy with the Alpha, 5x10sec and the NMN in the conditions.

Good distance there Flex and that’s about as close as it gets Boz and Ant 👍

Well done all the fast and distance men on the pond.  I'm advertising for a Sherpa to help me get my gear to and from the Pond.

Well done guys. Bit different weather where I am but got the Pinnaroos T Shirt out on Whitehaven Beach Whitsunday Island.

Did a bit of Supping on the beach in the background then some snorkelling in a bay nearby. 10/12 knot NorWest wind.
