Took a punt on a avarge Albany forecast and headed down with Woody.Turned out to be a good day for distance.I burned out at just under 15o and that was my best i could do to back Woody up,who was on a mission to get 300 :O  Well done Woody that was a top shelf effort.Pretty much planing the whole time on the 7.0NX,91RS2,,16 Delta,25ws,,20ws.

An early start with Ant on a fickle ESE forecast on the manta 66 evo 6.6. Started at 6am in 15-20kts. No wind for an hour 7.30-8.30am and contemplated aborting but stuck around as we were rigged. Went back out in moderate wind and a fast lowering tide till 12.30pm. Got to 200km. No wind from 12.30-2.15 except 15mins of light puff. Rigged the 7.4. From 2.15-3.50pm very short runs from kiters to 200-300m south of carpark. Tide was so low it was almost unsailable as planing out of the weed was almost impossible. Lowest water ever seen at Albany. So managed only 55km from 12.30-3.50 thereabouts. Looking forward to steady wind and more water next time. Never the less, a good days exercise and top company with Ant.

Great backup, Ant, I felt fairly confident you would be there too. It was a pretty good forecast for distance, just not for all out speed and nm, as you have shown. Congratulations on a well earned PB. Soory you couldn't quite make it to 150, but that is just a number.

It is pleasing to see the Pinnaroos at the top of nearly every table

If one spends 10 hrs driving and $250 on fuel then there is a slight incentive to perform and perform you did!  Very, very, well done.  Good to learn that you both do distance as well as speed.  I reckon GPS Speedsailing is going to be impressed too!  Your weighted averages will be vastly improved.
