Starboard Luderitz 44 | Severne Luderitz 5.2 | C3 Slingshot 20

Super windy and nice and flat.  More to be had from today, but pretty pleased with the speeds and gear felt stable and in control.  Trees down across the road (twice) on the way to Stanley and then an incident with Cookie crashing at full speed that required a 000 call to get an ambulance.  Sounds like he's doing better now, but waiting on scan results (hope all OK).  Think Izaac may have broken the Tassie speed record twice in one week - and another spot record!!  Well done Izaac!!

Snuck in a handful of good runs, needed a few more. Broken batten too! So stoked to see yet another 47 on the dial. Gear is feeling realy good! Unfortunally Cookie had a huge stack. Which does bring back to reality the conditions at times. Hope the injuries are a quick heal mate! We all called it a day early and help out Cookie where we could. Glad to see your okay! Challenging moments out there. But yet another big speed sail day in under a week.

Stanley West Inlet, Started as a great sail with Dave, Perks and Izaak, all was going well until I decided to stack.

Just finished a speed run but then caught a rail and went head first through the sail.

The short story is i spent 3 days in the Royal hospital in Hobart in the neurosurgical unit at which point they decided not to operate

but I will be in a neck brace for the next 6 weeks. We will see what happens after that.
