fangy (22667km):
759 days ago Fangyland with a big mob of peeps and a forecast that was on the money! Tide was too high, the wind a bit too west, but defo a Top Ten Fangy day for messing around the paddocks. Finally managed to meet Pesky Richo in the top car park, and then chewed the fat with Darren who took a wrong turn somewhere just west of Sydney and ended up on the west coast. With more gas bagging with Firiebob, Waricle, Basil and Toby and it was a miracle I got wet at all.
Smashed most of the km's on the Party Barge 310 and then when I was too tired for it, I cracked out the old Windtech race board. It was knot quicker but I was stuffed, overpowered and generally too distracted by Waricle getting splinters out of my bum. I didn't even know they were there, but Waricle assured me they were and spent quite some time checking and brushing them off. What a team player!
Anyhoo... Smiles on dials and off to organise some feed the zoo animals in this household.

Stretch (31360km):
759 days ago Koombana Bay, WA, AU. Foiling with Rat. Started out light and was battling to get going. Then kicked in with strong gusts making it quite challenging. Fin would probably have been a better option, but good to test the boundaries

Rondog (8978km):
759 days ago Albany, WA, AU
Started with nice easterly wind on mistral 91 and scr 6.2. Then half hour later no wind at all
Bobbing around for a while at least 20min. very frustrating but then it picked up south east. not as strong as before but nice powered up.
Tide was going out and flat. so lots of short runs and trying to score a good alpha.
The last hour was on the 86 isonic with delta fin.

759 days ago Coodanup, WA, AU CA59 SCR 6.3 fangy 18s Nice breeze, water was a little high and weed a little draggy in places but what a great day! Lots of locals, Peskys and some visitors all enjoying the sunny windy goodness.

759 days ago 1 categories That was very nice, great to catch up with Toby and meet Dizzy. Wind didn't look that strong so went with the 55cm board, 20cm@55 weedy and 6.2 Koncept. I probably could have got the 48cm board and 5.7 speed going most of the time, but there were a few small lulls that wouldn't have been as comfortable.
From the shore the NM looked like an option so I gave it a go. I'm surprised I actually made the length with out a gybe. But start and finish were a bit slow due to chop. so a good NM run isn't far off if the weed keeps growing.
Alpha was right on 50m, probably why the GW60 didn;t register it.

Short sail at liptons till the body gave out.
Nice bit of power in the middle, but only two runs across.

Great sail today with everyone. New CA 78 board, new overdrive sail, new harness and lines.
Took a while to set it all up. All worked well. My watch said 36.19 which i got all excited about, nevermind.
