Kyeemagh, Gusty NEer 19-24kn. JP 135 HYdrofoil, NP H2 Racing 6.6m, SB GTR 650/95+/255-2. Started out from Dog Beach, wind didn't look too stong so set up foil with the 650 front wing on the 115++ fuse. Craziness ensued. I crashed 3 times on the first 2 runs, like riding a bucking bronco! It just wanted to rear up out of the water and I was veering violently upwind then downwind trying to get control, with the board on a 30 degree angle. Went striaght back in a changed to the 95+ fuse which was much more manageable, although the 6.6 was a real handful in the gusts which were coming through like bullets. You could see the dark patches on the water approaching, then Bam!

Good to see Dieter back out on the windfoil again, as well as Fez and a couple of other regulars in amongst the 1000 wingers.
