Rob (6251km): Another pleasant day at Coodanup. 6.2 mach 2, CA 92L, tribal delta 18. Super shallow. Very happy not to come unstuck after hitting rocks and damaging two fins.
Hardie (35858km): Lipton's no water. I measured wind gusts of 28kts. As water levels rose I tried one run into Lipton's and hit bottom but that was the 38ktrun. Called it after that don't need an accidental injury. Nude speed 54 tr18 5.5m. pepefoil 18cm
Elmo (31700km): Patrik 100, NP RSR E6 6.4m, Nemesis 30cm. Even lower tide today not that it makes much difference at Novara. Plenty of wind with Snides, Terry and Peter(?) out blasting around. Thought I'd be overpowered with the 6.4, realistically it wasn't to bad. Worked my way straight upwind to go behind ward point to find a bit of "flatish" wasn't to bad over there but a lot of rays and big mullet cruising around, hit a couple of mullet and had a confused eagle ray under my board for about 50m trying to figure out howe to get away from me whiolst I was trying to do the same to it. Ony did about 3 runs behind ward point befopre decided to head back before the arms gave out. Got my naughty on run east back and a 27.1Knot naughty on the run back to base, reckon If I had a lunp of coal shoved up my arse I would have had a diamond when I got back to the car. Great fun, also caught up with Matt Langer who also came down fpor a special guest appearance
Sammy the snail (29353km): Coodanup, WA, AU Awesome fun in the shallows, I sailed higher and stay away from the temptations and never touch the fin once. Was a long walk to reach the water. Woow I really enjoyed that, wind was a little stronger when rigged up, seems like to drop then comeback after 17.30., did not stay late today. Wanted to use the 5.4 Racing but still waiting from repair!! I wasn't sure about the wind after yeaterday so I rigged the old RS Slalom 5.8, it was very pleasant and easier to jybe that the racing I use normally but not as powerful. Had problem again with the 16 fin, spins on portside, across and downwind feels like im sailing on marbles. mmmh Herby, RSS5.8, CLDW16 |
