Finback (1145km): Coodanup got 1 Run in when wind picked up. Servene 7.8m M4, Tribal 88ltr, Tribal 25cm Weedspeed. Wind was perfect and my mast broke unfortunately.
Snickers (14139km): Melville Beach, WA, AU with a bunch of the regulars who were enjoying some wind and some festive cheer! Punchy wind, tide a little high, sailing close to Alfred Cove. Severne reflex 6.2, mistral 91 tws 29 then mistral 112 with tws29. Came in to add extra down haul and the bigger board was quicker and held some speed, smaller board was too on and off. Wasn't ready to leave, there was plenty of fun to be had.
Windxtasy (14093km): M47, 5.8K, 18 tribal delta wind 12 - 14 when I arrived, booted to 16 - 20 in time for rigging. 20 - 24 when I left A very pleasant sail with a big crew out but most were frustrated with their speeds, except the Shroom, who was haveing a whale of a time. Everyone else seemed to think they should have been 2 kn faster. Me included. Never the less, my best speeds and distance since January. Warm wind combined with relative chop. Wishing all my GPSTC friends a safe and happy Christmas
The Shroom (820km): Twas the night before Christmas, by the Shroom. ‘Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the Fangland, All the creatures were stirring, including the sand. The PBs were hung by my board with care, In hopes that a 2sec would soon be there.
I was nestled all snug in my speedrun bed, While vision of 29.7 knots danced in my head; While rob in his shirt and Pete in his cap, Had just settled down for a long winter’s nap.
When out on the water the chop was such a clatter, I sprang from my straps to see what was the matter. Away to the water I flew like a flash, Went splat to the water and threw up the sash.
The sun on the breast of the new -fallen wind, I was mightily fallen and mostly skinned, When, what to my wondering eyes should appear, But a miniature board and eight tiny reindeer.
Now, Severne! Now, Simmer! Now Goya and Tribal, On, KA! On, Point-7, On, JP and Kestral. To top of the speedrun, to top of the wall! Now, dash away! Dash Away! Dash away all!
Fun day out at Coods to get my PBs! A huge shoutout to Maree Jordan for selling my fantastic 50L isonic which I got my 29.70knots on. So many people out to mention, Pete was the only one wearing a cap who was in to make to poem work.

Pointman (26088km): Coodanup, WA, AU Fun fang at Coods in a solid breeze. Windtech 57 + 6.3 SCR + 18 Delta. Combo was well powered for the most part, but it was a bit choppy for speed. Still a nice way to end my working year, it was pretty nice out there |
