Stanley, TAS, AU what a tough day at Stanley wind was about 35 knots that was okay but the sea state was horrible I could not handle it at all ,rolling chop down the Run almost unsailable with it dead downwind very hard, happy with my nautical in those tough conditions and well done Dave good going

Wow, that was a pretty full-on session, from the moment of stepping on the board.  Took the 60w out first to do NM's with Perks and of the two we did, had 38+ knot peaks down the bar, in very broad conditions and some bad chop in other areas, making the NM' hard going.  Glad to swap to the smaller 52w, but still very tricky sailing super deep in windy, gusty conditions.  At one point the small chop that was building down the run was running at right angles to the bar, so we were sailing straight over the back of it!  All good fun though.
