Liptons, Estuary WA

Reflex 5.6, Mistral 57, VDW 25.5

Dawnie.....sitting in the car, heater blaring at 5.30am waiting for the sun and some warmth. Decided to leave the bear aways alone again today and work on alphas. First session had a few alphas in the mid 26......but at 55mYell.

Went back out and ended up over compensating. My fastest and ended up within 25m the starting point, what could have been. All top 5 over 25.5 so stoked. Sealed

Great atmosphere and results................

Great outing at liptons in the peel { claytons liptons } with no tea bags out  what a bummerSmile great conditions flat and windy  this place is pritty good my first speed sesh here with a few out and a great atmosphere i had one big off when i was doing my n/mile hooked into a good gust thinking this will finish the nauty of nice wound up and spat out at 39kns not much damage ended up with a strained wrist  its a bit sore now but it cant be that bad because i sailed another 50 ks after that also broke my uni tenden and busted my zip on the luff pocket when i got back to my gear the boom was all the way to the top this proberbly saved my boom and ripped my gps of my arm my paqua midi is busted custard but the gps is good used the nude 54 first and got my alpha , 2 sec and n/m on that then changed to the nude 47 proberbly should of changed sooner as the wind was on the way out very happy with the Hot Sails Maui GPS 5.8 it was very comfortable  and never over powered!

Excellent gybing Tomski. I can only dream of doing a gybe like that...

Think we may have a few Liptons converts, that would have been great fun, if I wasn't so p!zzed at underachieving.

Great photo Shane, (is that camera water proof? Looked like Strop was trying to drench it, (or you?)

Fantastic Strop, great numbers guys, surprised you didn't overtake us with those numbers, must be something to do with our Albany trip, must go and check.

It's up to the butterflies now guys, we're sitting level at the moment, anything can happen before the end of the month, doesn't look like much wind in WA.

Yep, if we hadn't gone to Albany you'd be well ahead.

This is a pic of my uni bolts for the tenden i thought the tenden was split right through but i had only torn half way through the holes in it it may be worth checking your own if you have given it a work out and not checked it for a while the saftey ropes have saved me before but this is the first time ie seen bent bolts it just shows you how much load goes through it!
