Novara Beach, WA, AU

Great sail, had to change down to a 5.2 after this session. Not sure where that second lot of data is.

Tabou Manta 54 & chooko Mach 1  30cm, Tabou thunder & LE 36cm, NP RSR Eiii 7.0m

Not the best session I've ever had, just couldn't get my shit together and having a skull 3 sizes to small for my brain today certainly wasn't helping.

Went out originally with the small board thinking it would be on, but the first run showed that there was power but quite a few lulls in the run which was not fun so out the the Manta and in with the Thunder, which today I struggled to find balance with over the chop and through the flats, fin felt like it was letting go a lot which it doesn't normally do.

Gybing was a nightmare on sesame st as I kept getting my front foot stuck in the foostrap, only made 3 gybes in the whole session.

Of to try some different pain killers and have a lovely dinner with my beloved.

Nice corner Hardz, Things are back athey should be

Fangy's run Coodanup Foreshore.F2Store 105l, KaKoncept 6.6,MUFDelta 19.

A good fun afternoon cruising up and down Fangy's runTongue out on the Delta and the best sail I have had all year! It started a bit dodgy with a quick trip around the front of the mast when I found that I could not sail all the way up the sand to the car to get the screwdriver to tighten the vent plug that I had forgotten to tighten before heading out. The trouble with a real estate incident when on a 19cm fins is that you havent actually got much water to land in. So I was a cross between a circus high diver into the paddle pool and a bouncing bomb. It all ended rather quickly and the only damage was my ego and the only side effect was my bathers felt like some one had emptied a dredge into them..Now imagine if the red furry thing had done that..it would have been carnage and another paragraph of 'Laughing with Elmo'

The rest of the day was without incident. The Delta meant that I could not go out too far into the estuary as the chop was too big. It would have been nice to have a bit more breeze as I was continually sounding like Jeremy Clarkson on my downhill runs  yelling "MORE POWER!". In any case I got some good long runs in but never really got a good gust to really point the toes with and in the end I just ran out of wind. Hopefully tomorrow will turn it on as well.Laughing

Head high waves out the front today, but I resisted temptation, the flat water at liptons was calling.

Spent the day trying different things trying to catch up to Cheryl, (think she might be a liptons convert) but didn't make it.

Started out with the 5.8 in the 48 with Keef's small 17cm 45deg.

First thing I blamed for my lack of speed was keef's fin, so plugged the 19.5 woody weedy into the 43.

This only made it harder to get going in the shallows and lulls, didn't go any faster.

Yoyo was getting high 37s with a 5.3, so I thought it worth seeing what happened with the 5.0 bagged out.

plugged that into the 48 with keiths small fin. Still not really comfortable so swapped to the 19.5.

Trouble was wind was dying a bit, so it was hard to tell.

Mineral, I was so annoyed at messing up my carefully manicured back hair with my bouncing bomb routine that I forgot to check :-)

The hour, NM and distance should be fairly close, it's just the shorter times and alphas that are a bit iffy.
