Ahh thats better than yesterday, great arvo on the water. High tide gave plenty of depth over the speed run but a bit choppy for anything special. Good to see Rod from Coastal Speed Team and Sammy from the Mandurah mob and spend time sailing with JJ.

Fun afternoon with Craig, Rod and Sammy making a long awaited appearance, good to see him on the water again
Wind didn't get much over 18 knots and too much water today on the bar
NMs were great fun trying to keep the speed up in the messy swells.
M112, Tribal Weedy 31 (super fast upwind and handled the sticky weed pretty well)
M91, MXR 25 (slow but sheds weed nicely)
KA Koncept 7m (a little underdone)

Pinnaroo Point, WA, AU 125 rocket, 36 jp weed, 7.5 easy. The idea was to test my gear and fitness for LtL. I went upwind to below Hillarys to get the downwind experience and the wind dropped. it was a challenge. It picked up again, direction was changing from South to Southwest, there was no power for speed but relatively gentle chop (mini car size) for Pinnaroo made me go and go, until I was the only one on the water and the sun stopped cooperating. Happy for kms. I did not know I did over 100km. Way outside waves were the size of my camper, my gear was coping, 125 rocket with its cut outs does not feel big at all. When I was in the water occasionally my harness would unhook, I have to look into it. I have blisters so full gloves would help.
