Exocet RS4-2 - Mauisails TRXI 7.7

Chilly, cold, freezing but windy, too much for the 7.7 at times.

Great show from 3-4 freestyle guys.

Primbee, Nice introduction to the largest expanse of flat water i've seen. Wind was up and down. Started on CASL55, Koncept 6.6 BPWS25. Was getting stood up a lot and wasn't comfy so rigged way down to CASP40, HSM 5.5 and "the money shot" Keef weedy, who is this guy?? lol, awesome fin never let go once rock solid. Thanks Keith.

Yet another great bunch of blokes. Something about the sport i think, quality all round.

so shallow I was grinding the bottom very often, found it hard to find room to bear away. Some nice gusts in the end. Was great to see so many demerits: Artur, Nigel, Barks and Seaskip sailing and Roar came to say hello: he looks fighting fit, I'm sure will start windsurfing soon.

Congratulations Stuart and Seaskip for the pbs !

Great turn out. Nice to sail and yarn with so many happy people. Was good to meet Chris and Matt who drove so far. Pity the wind dialled right down after midday... I hope tomorrow is heaps better.

Falcon 101, NP H2 6.6, borrowed 24cm weedy from Nigel. Thanks Nigel!

Great to see so many DD's today. Major excursion away from home for SeaSkip and Palleon. Well done Nigel on the PB's!

Must admit I was unprepared for such shallow water. My normal weedy was no good here. Needed a toughened delta fin to grind away before taking off.

Missed out on the stonger wind earlier in the day but had some fun in any case. Only real complaint was frozen feet whch meant looking where to place feet and not go by feel as there wasn't any feeling in them feet. Best thing was my shoulder injury stayed away so here comes more sessions!

Sorry about the damage Artur. I lost sight of you and thought you stayed out for fun. I had to head back for duty at home command...

thanks Sue. Was a bit disapointed with the alpha today. Wind was pretty ordinary, but still fun.

What an impressive turn-out for the DDs!!Kaptain Karl seems to be MIA though.

Artur, I'll keep an eye out for your boom today.  Someone's bound to step on it in the coming weeks, but won't help you in the mean time. I guess you'll have to buy a new one :( I like my Chinook and they're a good price too. I'm like Barks and just thought you were staying out for a mega-session. Sorry to hear about your dramas.

George, there can't be many more PBs in the bag for me. I think they'll all be hard eraned from here on in.

Keef, would love to try one of your new fins today if you're around. That GS 19cm I cut down was letting go a lot yesterday and I just couldn't put my complete trust in it. I spent a lot of time crossed up.

Yeah great sailing on what was a cold day. As Sue said, I went north and decided the wind was not good enough to go out.
