Nice day for the Safety Bay Windsurfing Club to have a get together. Sea Breeze came in nicely, bit choppy out though. Got a bit carried away and rigged the 5.5 but decided to change to the 6.2 and it was well powered. Ventured down to the pond for a quick hello to some fellow Pinnaroos and had to call it a day for night shift again.

3301 days ago Great fun bump and jump session at Dutchies. 13 min speed ocean alpha! Naughty has 5 gybes in it!
Nice to have some proper wind. Started out on the 5.4 and rider twin then finally got my fresh out of the plastic bag (although months old) 4.7 wet.
Called it around 2.30 as it started to get nasty choppy with a view to a Wallyworld session 2. Wind seemed to have backed off so called it quits and home for a beverage!

3301 days ago Safety Bay, WA, AU. Got down around 2, and the wind looked pretty good. JJ, Tailwind and and Geoff all looking forward to some real wind too! 6.3s were the order of the day, and it seemed ok to start but the wind gradually backed off, maybe 1 knot per hour. Got full power a couple of times but mainly just sagging off the back of the board hoping for more.
Tried a few alphas but seems my tracks were a bit wide today. I toyed with the idea of putting on the 28 for more life (should have!) but was just too lazy to go in and fiddle around. Speed run was a minefield, so didn't bother. Maybe with a 21 and more tide, but I decided to call it instead.
Great sesh with some super fun blasting in the pond and swells with Geoff on his 92 vintage!

I was planning to go to Coodanup but just as I was about to leave the wind dropped there and it was good here, so Melville it was.
First sail in over two weeks, and first sail in more than 15 knots in goodness knows how long. I felt I had to relearn how to sail the smaller board, but I did rediscover that it likes to go fast! Any failure to go fast today was purely sailor ineptitiude.
I will be sore tomorrow.

Had a lot of fun at Pinnaroo today on the FSW boards after yesterday's struggle.
6m worked well in the conditions. 7 would have worked even better.
PB galore guys. Well done. Congratulations

Awesome day at the pond with a bunch of Pinnas.
Powered up with a 6.2 and the 91 was going well just the pesky kiters and not enough water to burn down the strip.
Fun arvo

Fun team day - nice to see Andrew blasting on his new M91
Looked proper windy at 3pm so rigged the 6.2 - wind was playing tricks and the 7 would have been better.
Got bored waiting for the tide to come in so tried the Delta - got tugged a few times, the weed is growing quite thickly.
Good fun down the run although the Delta fin is pretty draggy if not overpowered, suprisingly easy to sail back upwind out in the ocean, just need to go light on the back foot.

Great session and a lot of fun blasting with Jake and Jon; didn’t see Andrew till late in the day.
Underpowered with the 5.8 sail but still very happy with the performance of the old board.
