Sanctuary Point, NSW, AU

Falcon 99/OD7m/Tribal weedie 31, then JP60/OD6.2

Hot day, wind started off light, good fun on the 7m for a couple of hours, then changed down and pulled the new christmas toy out, JP60, very different to ride than the falcon, going to provide a some new challenges to get to grips with that one. May need to pinch Keef's matching sail as well for colour co-ordination.

Bit of drama later in afternoon, Akim come in with blood pouring down his face after some more flaka practice. Tony Polony quickly applied a disposable nappy to the wound.

Lots of windsurfers out at SP today

Slightly confused that my GPS post location states "Nowra". Having a look at the KML image, it looks fine however there's a straight line to my house in town... The 52 was switched off so it clearly hasn't recorded my drive home (that's the main thing!). Looking at my alpha, I think I need to keep the gybes close to the boat ramp a lot tighter, followed by a less gap from the alpha entry gate... Second thoughts, I was mucking with it outside at home this morning... As I said, fortunatley it didn't record the drive!

Speaking of alphas, Nige - you da man!

Updated photo - thanks Doorsy!

Captain I hope you noticed, I obeyed the rule of any girl with a sail size bigger than captain's sail must leave the water immediately...

check out Dannie's photos on facebook, once again a great SP day

Fantaslic day !Elli road the smallest board she has ever riden.70 litre STARBOARD FLARE prototype and sailed it like a boss. She was  the fastest  on the water early on when the wind was light. She couldn't sail for too long because she had a party to go to in the afternnon but was using it as a warmup for tomorrow. She is leading the overall in the under 13 age group but isn't satisfied till she takes 1st in all 6 categories. Should be easy, she doesn't even need PB's.Looks like 10 year old Elli is going to take over ruling the division from her brother.

With over 1400 blokes as members and only 9 kids, something is wrong here, what type of club is this ?,Oh, no wonder they asked me to leaveSurprised

Rhys was ripping and Kye went to a whole nother level, faster and doing massive floaty jumps. Alex was amazing as always, did his first spock 540 the other day then ripped out 2 dozen perfect ones today and topped it off by landing his first 2 shaka's.

The pressure was on for me to keep up. atempting kono's,got my first messy shaka but  got punched in the nose by my enigma boom on a failed spock 540.What a tough boom. I probably would have been killed if my rig weighed as much as a Neil Pryde.  Blood everywhere with a deep gash to my nose and another on my forehead. Thanks Tony ,very resoaceful getting that used diaper out of the bin to stop the bleeding. Then Doc Hilliar came over to check. He prescribed some superglue and said I was very brave and deserved some jellybeans(not being in the surgery he didn't have any with him) but I should take it easy tomorrow.

Well I guess that means I have to go GPS sailing tomorrow with all the other cripples-on the positive side ,looks like I'll still get those jellybeansCool

So I'll be sailing with the Gustbuster Chicks tomorrow and help Elli beat all the GPSTC boys and Dez crack that 30 she so deserves. Can't wait for tomorrow,PB's for the girls and jellybeans for my birthdayTongue out

Hey Tony, Looks like you've got two seperate sessions in your tracks. There's 2 alphas and 2 NMs. Might want to check that. Also the HR seems a bit high too given your fastest gybe was only 18 (maybe only just planing?). Not questioning you, but I think that device might be a bit dodge. Would be worth getting one of the pros (decrepid et al) to check the file.

Hey Milsy, was just thinking since you change teams anually, you might consider joining the Gustbusters this year. We are in desperate need for a decent captain. SurprisedThis team could realy use a profesonal and seabreeze celebrity like youself. The Gustbusters are the No.1 Kids team by far and I think you would a hit with them. Come on Milsy, join the GustbustersCool

Yep, epic hour Tony. Massive jump from your previous best HR. Don't get much opportunity for good ones with our short runs on Botany... like Johnny says, when you gybe every 800-1000m the gybes are critical to a good hour, but with the longer runs it would be heaps easier.

LOL - I grew up living on polony and tomato sauce sandwiches in WA. The fact that it reminds me of my West Aussie youth and rhymes with Tony seems a logical argument :-)

Agree with your comment about the current 'buster crew. They're like a second family with both a good parent and a bad one. But I'll let you decide who which is which!

Well I reckon you're a top bloke Milsy and a great sailor... you've been nothing but friendly to me and very welcoming whenever I've sailed Budgy with you. Starting a new team is a great idea.... keepin it real brother. Love ya style man. Don't change for anyone.
