Sanctuary Point, NSW, AU

Big busting N Easter!

JP 84 / TR8 5.5

Big day on the small gear and something that I'm not overly used to. Good fun and with close to 50 other windsurfers at Sanctuary Point, a great day for windsurfing on the South Coast.

Keefy the Loft Boom you sold me for $50 snapped on me today!! Any chance of a refund as it's less than 12 months old and is simply "not fit for purpose" Smile

Thanks Dezza for the short extension loan and Nige for the boom loan too. You two are life savers!

First try - Falcon 99l OD 5.6

Second try - wave board and 4.8m wave sail

Lots of wind today, totally over done on the 5.6 OD and 99l, so called it quits for the slalom gear (couldve used keefs 5m fresh from repair man but it was sitting in Sydney), then out on the wave board, not ideal with 4 fins to drag the weed. As Craig said Im faster on the 7.8/111l, thanks for that Craig

Great SP day, lots windsurfing action from raceboards to freestyling. Good day for the gustbusters, spills and thrills all day long

Bulli, NSW, AU A good Noreaster, plenty of southerly swell but a relatively shetered launch in the Sandon Point corner.  Tabou 105 and 5.5 NCX, just the ticket for keeping under control.

sanctuary point nsw

a top day with plenty of gustbusters out,

a big mistake having two fins the same colour and brand, one 23cm and a 26 i thought i had the 26 in but i actually had the 23 in way to small for a 6,3 that was over powered, realised my mistake just as dezza was leaving with her words of wisdomSurprised, changed to the 26 and no more spinning out,

ricky turned up late the water flattened off still with the same amount of wind,we had the place to ourselfs, best speed was done on a 28 c3 venom slalom fin.

iam off to n z for a few weeks but as usaul gavs back in town so expect a blow!!!!!!!,and thats just what seabreeze predicts is he blessed or what!!!!!!!!!

...and you got the 34 knot too mate! Well done buddy!!!

Funny how the device is sometimes either rounded up (or down) from the screen display. Awesome effort to have sailed over 52km in today's conditions too.

Keef I know, can you believe it. I thought 5 was only needed for Primbee westerlies. Spewing.

IS Craig still on the water?

Simply outstanding effort Matt to hold that 7.0 today. Well done on the PB and for some serious distance sailed too!

Classic Keefy! The thoughts were running through my mind when I was rigging the 5.5 today about the boom! Mate, it's well and truly served its purpose indeed.

Nige Doors, here's my tracks. You'll see the dark grey line that gave me one of my 10 sec averages, quickly followed by the infamous 'boom break' scandal that will rock the Gustbuster ranks like there's no tomorrow! Cool

I'm absolutley loving it! Great photos being posted, looked like you guys had a howler down there. Looks like a real good scene with all the younger crew. Fantastic!!

Craig has only just now recovered enough to get out of bed to post.

You did 34 knots ! Wish I saw that catapult.Tongue out

I suggest that you be at the boat ramp 18,19,20th of January for the Guy Cribb coarse. I think he might be able to help you.

Great to see all the PB's and great speeds.

Craig, what GPS are you using? With your form you should be using a Doppler device. Have a quick check of the claification on the home page re GPS's.
