Very nice summer holiday windsurfing at SP, was a bit under done on sail for the period I was on the water but enough to get going. Looks like it got better later.

Erowal Bay, NSW, AU Had 2 sessions today out the back in the weedy shallow bay but only had the gps for one. 101 Futura/6m GTX Was nice and flat and very smooth except for near the end when a family of absolute dropkicks took an exception to me sailing in their Bay and started to line me up with golf driving practice. Nice swings there fellas. Too much to drink I think.

very nice PB tony polony, especially on a day like today, awesome!

Yeah I thought that I would have to give half of my PB points to the DD's as I initially believed that I had scored it on Barks' Falcon and new TR12 (very nice rig mate!). From review of my KML file, it must have been with either the SLW (very doubtful) or the trusty old Futura R3 7.0 combo. If it was the latter, I will just add that it was with the 1000mm Craig Cole weed fin too!

The KML file also shows how the wind shifted to the east slightly later on in the day...

Great day regardless. Keefy, you should have hung around instead of going home to "wax your taxi" (or whatever they call it these days). Foot in mouth

Luv those tracks TonyPolony. The pattern shows you tried every angle to milk each run for what it's worth.

Glad you liked the Falcon MS kit. It's sweet.

Congrats on the PB. I thought it was a bit quicker with Falcon assist. Maybe Falcons  just feel faster?

Actually, now that I've had some food (and a refreshing ale), reviewing the animation appears that full credit goes to Barks' Falcon / TR12 ensemble! Makes full sense as it was the true point of the day that I felt as though I was going pretty fast. Yep, me gots to get a Falcon me thinks! I also like how your harness lines were really close together. Gave a great deal of control without much load on the arms... Might spend the next session trialling some different setups. Thanks again for the loaner mate - great work.

It was one of these I think Dez - http://www.kasailwindsurfing.com/au/tribal/tribal-weed-fins/weed-speed/tribal-weed.html

...but if Kapitan Keefy sees you with one, LOOK OUT!!

Well done Tony, a 2 sec PB in a SP southerly is a big effort, not much flat water around. Those tracks look like the Wagon Wheel batting graph at the cricket! Smashed it all over the ground.

I have but its not making me go fast enough. In 2016 my committment is that I'll spend less time on posing for selfies and more time on sailing faster. The time has come to get 30 or go home Cry

NBR to think that a bunch of ferals were hitting golf balls at you whilst windsurfing is absolutely disgusting...

Dez, you have the whole team here to support your aim for 30knots+. It's only a matter of time where you align the gust, flat water and bear away!

Great going Tony picking up a PB in trying conditions, Nigel i had looked at sailing in there on a southerly but i never thought the obsticles envolved would be the land based human ones, i still might try one day.

Yes Tony you are right, they had all the toys boats jetskis and kiddies rides on ride on mower they accused me of cutting there fishing lines twice. I know what hooks can do so l was nowhwre near their lines but try arguing  with 15 drunk yobbos who think having a go at a 62 year old having a harmless  sail is a big laugh. They are sick people but l know where they live or are possibly  holiday people.

This time of year brings out all the drop kicks..Undecided

Dezza you look like you sail great - you just need a timely gust in the flat and you'll kill 30kts!

After seeing photos of myself sailing I feel like crawling under a rock..EmbarassedLaughingUndecided

Took me ages to crack 30 Dezza, but everyone said once you do you'll wonder why it was so hard. They were right. Hang in there matey. I'm sure you'll get it soon. Rig a bit bigger, line up a big gust, hit the flat water and hang on Cool It's yours by the end of summer for sure.
