3043 days ago Patrick 92, OD 7.0m Delta 19. Pretty good day. Was looking average at the start but wind came in very soon after hitting the water. Had a bit of a stack and managed to headbutt the mast after spining out on my upwind run. Heard a couple of cracks one the helmet hitting the mast, that didn't hurt and other the neck. Bit sore but ok. Great to catch up with the local crew and especially with the other DD members Nigel and George. Speed board now needed to join the 40 club. Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU

3043 days ago 1 categories I got to Primbee just after dawn and was on the water about 7:30 in 15kts with a 6.3 TRX NP60 speed board and 23cm Maui Fins Spweedie.
Peak GPS reading was 39.07kts, but point reading not 2s, heading north. I think I completed 1 gybe all day.
Note to physio therapists, it's hard to go faster when your biceps don't obey your brain. I think I should have waited an hour for the wind to kick in before going out as the cold sapped my energy.
Switched down to 5.5m TR4 (oldie but a goodie!) and continued on. Luckily came out of the water before the 40+kt front hit! Wow that was a strong wind!
Awesome sail, so close to my goal but not close enough !
Overall great day, even though it cost me a sore ankle and knee.
Good to catchup with the dedicated bunch of sailors braving it out in the middle of winter while others are skiing.
I'll put some photo up on Seabreeze sometime today or tomorrow.

Exocet RS3 - S2 Maui 7.0 - ERD 34
Good session when the wind eventually kicked in. Only a few out. Frozen feet after 15min, not the best to feel the board!
The whole gear worked extremely well. I feel the 2016 RS3 (with cut outs) would have been better as I had at time too much tail lift on the 2013 RS3.

Went up to Budgewoi to get a specific job done... 20kt HR. Smashed it. Did 43klms in an hour, which is a 23, but KA72 robbed me. Still very stoked with a 21.8. Was tempted to do a few bare-aways, but had to resist and keep on the hour mission.
What an absolutely epic day. It was freakin howling out there today. Norah only showing 10-22kts. WTF? I was fully loaded on a 6m, so I reckon it was a solid 30kts, maybe more. The wind really came in and there was 2ft swell smashing the shore at Peely, but still plenty of flat water up the other end. Happy with my hour I decided to pull the plug early and head home rather than change down and do some speed runs.
....and then I upload my file and see an alpha pb too. Wow. So close to cracking 24... soooo close! Arghh
Great to sail with my travelling buddy, Georgio and glad fellow teamy Dean made the trip up and snagged a couple of impressive PBs. Really good to catch up with all the Budgie locals, Mick, Johnny, Byron, Steve, Froth, Lids, Matty, and all the other regulars. Especially cool to have a yarn with Sue and see you're doing so well... you'll be back on the water soon mate.
See ya'll again soon.

jp69/ Koncept 5.8/ MXRWS22 & i94/ Koncept 6.6/ Delta 21 in the end some runs with i94 and 5.8
Wind too strong for the 5.8 after about 11.30, tried to go out with 4kg weights but did not help much, then in a lull did the last 1/2 hr with the isonic.
Good to see Nigel and Dean and all the great Budgi people. We missed you Artur !!!!
