Isonic 117, TRXI 7.0, Volt 40 and fluffed around in anticipation for the promised noreaster.

Then Falcon 101, TRXI 7.0 (cause I couldn't be bothered dowsizing), Volt 36. Kit was was too big with a number of lifting off moments on the bearaways.

Thought there were some short spurts over 31 or so but not the case.

Top day with lots of beachgoers, swimmers, jetskis etc etc.

Great to see heaps and heaps of windsurfers having a good time.

Where is the floating lounge? It was perfect conditions earlier in the day. I could have done with a rest in between runs.

Exocet RS4-3 - S2 Maui 7.7-7.0 - Various fins

What a great day, heaps out on the water, a lot better with jetskis/boats. I should have definitely rigged down to 6.3 when the 30+ kts hit but still managed to hang on in the stronger gusts!

The runway was definitely tricky today with some vicious stairs to climb down!

Manta 98, OD 6.2 BP RS34

Awesome session today. Arrived at 2:30 to see plenty of 7m+ sails and people cruising around looking comfy, but by the time I hit the water plenty of people were coming in to change down. Then it really started cranking around 5. Super angry with confused chop, but the wind was a pretty steady 30-33kts. At times it was hard to stay on the water and I had a few big offs while baring down the runway. My new tennis hat stayed on the whole time... stoked :)

Even more stoked on the Manta. Such an awesome board. Defintely faster than the Patrik 100, but just as easy to ride. The thing gybes way better too... really tight even in the heavy chop. I need a full quiver of these things... ooo yeah.

Another WINDY session at Kyeemagh, gusting well over 25kts, possibly up to 30. The water was way too bumpy for commited speed runs, even right up at the tip of the runway, and even parallel was a little too deep off the wind.

iSonic 90L, TRX 6.3 and 30cm Maui Fin (too small).

After a brief lull, I took off and some gusts hit so I headed straight for the tail of the run-way, cranking on a shallower down-wind run, peaking 34kts about 100m off the runway, in a peaceful flat section. Sweet ride...

Med wind (about 20 kts), not as much as on the Botany Bay but still not so bad. Just me and George from Sydney.

A bit underwhelming, felt underpowered and struggled all the time to stay upwind, only did 2 short bear aways.

Patrick 115 and 92. OD 7.8m and 7.0m  Was on the wrong gear all day.  Rigged a 7.8 all good wind came up a notch and need a 7.0m.  Changed sails went out again then wind came up another notch.  Went home.  Good to have a chat with most of the DD crew though.  Kyeemagh, NSW, AU

I haven't seen so many posts from us all on one day for a while. Glad everyone had a good time, That was a top day. Hopefully not the last of the year. Doesn't look like much else in the charts before work starts for me on the 3rd... maybe a sneaky NE'er or that Southerly on Sun/Mon. It's been a fantastic year sailing with you blokes. All the best for a great 2017 :)
