Wind didn't do it's thing unfortunately. Very happy with the hour in those conditions. Nice warm afternoon, cooked in the 5/3.

Barry (24372km):
2568 days ago Stanley, TAS, AU Excellent easterly. An eventful day with some good highlights and an unfortunate mishap. Started in the first channel with Cookie. Third channel was mostly with Al Bach. Cookie hit some strange bump in the middle of a gybe and tore a hammie, then made a painful exit from the third channel. Hope you don't miss too much time on the water, or fishing, Cookie. Was great to see Al smoking down the channel, also met up with Bob (Firiebob), of the Mandurah Mob, who is in the area for a short while. Hope you get to score a Stanley session Bob.

Thought the wind was going to come in stronger, but it didn't. Went out briefly on the 97 and larger fin later on, but thewind had dropped even further. Need to start using bigger board, sail and fin (reminder to self)! Kaleb was flying!

Great to get another sail in at Marion. Sailed with Dave and Kaleb on a warm and sunny arvo. Looked windy when I got there but was underdone most of the time. Only used the FF114 at the end for a few runs

Down the NWCoast for work today so thought i'd thow the kit in the ute just in case time & huey allowed.
Glad I did, awesomely fun blast around the channel with Barry & Marcus.
Apologies to Cookie, didn't realise you were wounded, saw you some distance away but thought you were having a break / chilling in a tide pool. Wasn't til Barry came back out & said you'd done a hammy that it all made sense!

Fun sailing around with Kazza but hard work on the 90. Should have had the 115 but wanted to get back on the 90 after a big off on the weekend

Offshore ESE wind at Dorans. Very windy on the car park side and patchy lighter wind the northern end. Nice flat water. Just can't seem to get off the 19+ 1 hr mark. Have to wait for a nice big blow with some long distance runs.
Fun zipping around with Jez

2567 days ago 2 categories Stanley, TAS, AU, Good fun in the first channel with Baz before the tide got too low.
Had a short break before heading out to the third channel in what was good conditions with a 20 to 30 knot easterly.
The first and only alpha was a good start. The second one didnt go so well, somehow my back foot slipped off the board
and into the water the rest of me kept going ending up in a crash with heaps of pain in my hamstring from my front leg.
That was it for the day, gradually made my way back to my van and off to A&E.
A big thanks to Baz for retrieving my gear and all his assistance.
